I have nothing but praise for the team at Swain Moving & Storage. I called Swain and spoke with Lance about a job moving office furniture to a client of mine. We arranged to meet and look at the job the next morning, he arrived on time and gave me a price. On the day of the move, the team arrived on time, worked like warriors and moved everything in slightly less time than we thought it would take. I can’t explain to you how hard they worked, but carrying a 200 photocopier takes some finesse. They did an amazing job.
Then within days, I had another client that needed office furniture moved, I recommended Swain, called Lance, he came over immediately and quoted my customer. Another job booked and it went perfectly too.
Then the big one, a $6500 move of a warehouse to a new location. This took days of work, they provided boxes and junk bins, had a storage container delivered we could fill bit by bit, then every day the team showed up and packed the container until it was completely filled - ahead of schedule. We bumped the move day and they finished the job. Spectacular!

I will never recommend a moving company other than Swain Moving & Storage. They were absolutely terrific delivering everything I hope for in the way of service excellence. Quick, on schedule, estimated accurately, priced right, the team worked hard, the communication was excellent, everything was treated respectfully, nothing was damaged. What more can anyone ask for? Call Swain Moving & Storage and get things done by the professionals you can trust.

Fantastic Movers on Vancouver Island! They have been amazing with all of our clients over the past 3 plus years, and all we hear from them is how awesome and respectful and careful they are when moving peoples personal effects. We would highly recommend Denise and the gang for all of your moving needs. They go above and beyond every time.

We used this company for our last move from a referral from a friend. These guys are absolutely amazing! Took care of our belongings and are super friendly. Friendly & prompt service for an estimate (and moving prep advice.) On moving day they were on-time, friendly, organized, and timely at completing the move. I hired them on a recommendation, would hire them again, and will recommend them to others.

Last week Swain Moving did our move and the crew was amazing. Mike, Jeremy and Aaron were very professional, efficient and courteous. I've never seen such a cohesive group, they worked as one. I can't say enough about the great job they did from covering up the floors to handling our furniture with care. An absolute A-1 job.......thanks guys.

NO TRANSPARENCY

I gave him my cc prior to any work to be done and while he was documenting my number I asked if he could give me an idea of what the job would cost the Owner walked away reporting, if you you really worried about that find someone else?

Called another mover immediately after he left and they said over the phone they could be here in four hours and minimum was 275$ minimum 1.5 hours. Thats preferred feedback Mr. Swain.

We hired Swain to move our parents from a house in N. Saanich to a condo in Sidney. I wasn't there for the move but my sister's said the guys did a very good job. Later that day we realized they had left a bed support on their truck which we needed to get back. In addition I also wanted to hire them to remove a very large load of junk stacked in the carport of the old house.
It has been 2 weeks since the move between my sister, myself and my wife we have left 4 voice mails and 2 emails trying to get a call back but to no avail. Hugely annoying so I would definitely never recommend a company this unreliable.
