Country Grocer

Overall I like Country Grocer and the Bakery dept. came thru big time with a delicious and heavy German Chocolate cake. Special ordered a day before I was not disappointed by the cake or the price. 1/4 Slab was $30 and worth every penny.

Great prices and good selection… service is good especially by the OG’s Kathleen, Jill and Amanda at Customer Service. When items go on sale, they’re really on sale! Not this 15 cents off nonsense… we’re talking a couple of bucks! May I suggest they join Airmiles or their own point system? 😁

Recently moved to the area and was so happy to find this place to get groceries. Well laid out, clean, and friendly. Best of all the prices are better than other places I’ve tried.

Thrifty's has gone downhill the last few years after being bought by Sobey's and now Country Grocer is my go to grocery store. Service is always friendly and helpful and the prices are slightly better in my experience. Don't get fooled by the sale tags that aren't real sales. Use the flyers.

Such a great place to purchase my groceries from a local store down the street. Love the variety and they sometimes have the best special deal prices if you look you'll find them.

Love going to this store! It always has everything on my shopping list and I've really enjoyed their expanded, natural and supplements aisle. I especially like that they carry Eugene's products including hummus, zatziki, and pita bread.

Thanks for once again stocking 3kg tubs of delicious Elias Honey out of Prince George. Yes, it's pricey but a better deal than buying 1kg at a time. For as long as we're able we'll be happy to pay a bit more for the super quality of this product. It's vital that Canadian/BC honey producers are supported as they recover (fingers crossed) from the devastating collapse of so many of those bees colonies. We cannot continue to produce food without those busy bees.

We live closer to a Thriftys but always make the little extra trip to Country Grocer because the quality and variety of veggies are better + we save a lot compared to Thrifty prices. Our bills are noticeably lower when we shop here.
