We had the opportunity to fish with Island Outfitters on the Terminator out of Port Renfrew, BC. Captain Zane H was great, he went above and beyond. During both days it was clear that guest safety while having a good time and catching fish was the captain's top priority. The captain was able to keep us on the bite both days, with very little down time between fish. The fish were plentiful. We even got in a little extra crabbing on the way back to the port. The boat was always clean and organized, it was clear that the captain takes pride in his operation. At the end of each day the captain made sure our fish were ready to go to our choice of processors. I would 100% recommend Island Outfitters, and Zane.

I’ve bought lots of equipment from these guys. Expertise and customer service is always through the roof. I had a warranty issue with one of my rods and Peter jumped on it. Can’t express my appreciation enough. Hard to find honest, trustworthy tackle shops like this. 5/5 would rely on these guys in a pinch and will be recommending to everyone with ears. Got short changed by a new cashier, went back in and they gave my change back. Excellent customer service. Prices comparable or even cheaper than big box stores. Would recommend to anyone looking for outdoors gear in Victoria.

Zane was our captain for the day. We were lucky and had amazing weather for our trip. We caught our quota of salmon and then tried our hand at halibut. Zane was helpful, full of information and took us to a few great fishing places.

Visited during busy Black Friday with a specific product in mind. The service staff was very well versed in the birding scope we were looking for. He took his time to answer all our questions. Highly recommend this outfitter!

The staff are very knowledgeable and helped me find everything I needed for my upcoming weekend adventure. Will definitely be back for more supplies and gear soon.

Great place for fishing hunting and firearms. Can be an intimidating store at first for people new to fishing shooting or hunting, however that's mainly because there is so much awesome stuff. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection and prices pretty close to big box store offerings with much more customer service and expertise.

Always great service. The firearms/bow departments are very knowledgeable and polite. The fire was a shame, but I will say this new store is a huge upgrade. Lots of room, very organized & great lighting. I highly recommend this place for your hunting/fishing/shooting needs..

Excellent business. Great stock. Amazing and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable staff. I have dealt with Christian twice. A polite, courteous, most friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming individual. At least five stars all the way around.

These people are awful, just terrible, outrageous even! every single time I walk in there they manage to convince me I need to buy a new gun! What's more is they always have the specific gun I'm looking for, who do these people think they are?!? They've done this to me now ATLEAST 5 times. I would never recommend any one to walk in to this store unless you want to walk out having spent a lot more than you wanted to!

I am young and require some help when picking out firearms and the staff here are awesome people they actually take the time to tell you accurate information on the guns. Every time I have been to this store I’ve been completely satisfied leaving. Yes there prices are slightly inflated but they need to make money too. No other store will spend 30min with you picking out accessories for your AR-15.

Great place for gear and advice. I wanted to take my 6yr old daughter fishing, but I have scant knowledge and zero ability. I came here and Ian set me up with a rod, tackle and great advice. Caught our first 2 fish yesterday. Thanks again!!

Went out with Mike to swift sure bank. Had a great time. very knowledgeable and friendly guide that got us into fish immediately and often. Had a blast fishing with Mike. Highly recommend trying this trip out for anybody. great accommodations as well. Fully stocked house. very clean and close by. What a fantastic trip. lots of fish and even more good times.
