The Salvation Army Thrift Store

Since i got here in the island. Salvation is my go to thrift store. I can take 2-3 hrs just roaming around and find some gems. And now Christmas season, i just had fun buying decorations.

The staffs are great and friendly. Maybe lower some of the prices. As it is second hand and people, also me donating stuffs for a cause to try recycling stuffs. As make no sense of selling it so high that people cannot afford to buy it especially clothes. 😉

Always a fun adventure to see what unique finds on a given day. Today it was a Lululemon fleece and Lucky Brand jeans for a great savings with a coupon. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Happy to be supporting the Salvation Army Thrift Store with donations and purchases:)

Need cheaper stuff while helping the community and nature? This is your place to be!.I always check this place for cool cups, mugs and planters for my cactus and succulents . Restore, Reuse and repurpose.

Great thrift store. Prices have gone up a bit but nothing compared to other thrift stores around.

This Salvation Army location is a real find. It's got lots of good stuff, seems to be busy enough to have a constant turnover. Big, well laid out.

I walked away with this little trolley. In good shape.

Sometimes I don't find anything but so many times I score big. My favorite purchase is a beautiful large scale Nativity Set that is gorgeous. I was so shocked it was for sale at $25 but because of a sale I purchased it for $15! It definitely has a value of $200+. I also bought a Biscotti Jar for $15 and it looks great in my Italian Kitchen. Good deals for one who knows what to look for.

I hate to do this but... this location is a gem! Great prices and so much to search through. I always find something amazing here.
Plus the staff are wonderful, they don't harass your children if they come in with you like so many other locations, they are friendly, helpful and super pleasant.

So many hidden gems and so much stuff... Got a good portion of my Christmas shopping done here! Also purchased a brand new queen box spring for half the price of the local furniture stores. There is a limited amount of used furniture, mostly clothing, kitchen/houseware, and a nice selection of estate jewelry/auction items. Well worth visiting.

The View Royal location is always my fave for fun, cool and quality stuff. Rare that I can't find a good deal and it's well run so it's a nice place to check out.

I have to say the staff at this location are happy, helpful and friendly. They need to teach the staff in Langford a lot! Because today I went to both stores the view royal store had fantastic prices and wonderful customer service. The Langford store had staff that were making fun of their co workers in front of customers. Rude staff and one old lady employee power tripping being rude because I did not move quickly enough to her instructions of 3 items only in the change room. Needless to say I left without trying on the items and purchasing anything. It is not the first time staff have been rude there. I will never be back . The island highway store have wonderful staff ! Langford cranky Bags! Learn some manners .

Everything you need under one roof. This Thrift Store occupies a former grocery store from back in the day. Anyway, it is open late most days of the week and open early. It is often very busy, there are a lot of people around. But my word, if you can think of it, it is there. If you cannot think of it, something there will spark your imagination. Myself, I went today for the books. Five new paperback books from bestselling authors of yesteryear and today for $7 bucks. This place is closed on Sunday, because the staff are afforded a day off to go to Church.

They have weekly and daily specials. Display case auctions. Good quality items but sometimes overpriced.

Can you spell 'Bargain'. The managers of this store know how to make merchandise move out the door. Low low prices and well organized shelves. I had to drag my wife out of there or we would have owned the whole store!
