Tudor House Liquor Store

This store is large. Staff are awesome, and if you're a whiskey collector, you have to visit the second level.

Been going there for years, staff always helpful and friendly. It's a liquor store, you want booze go there. Their products are excellent because they retail products from distillers, brewers and vintners. Not sure why Google keeps asking me this stuff. Wanna get drunk in Victoria, go here...buy stuff...consume it. Stay out of jail. Welcome to my idiotic review in answer to a request for a review.

I give the five stars because they are probably the best liquor store on the island and the staff takes the time to remember you, minus one employee who seemingly takes finds joy in denying service. I went and purchased items and went back an hour later and had forgotten ID. However, I’m well into my 30s, they feed my dogs and know me as a customer there and I was just there an hour ago. The store was closing and she seemed to find it funny and commented I looked under 19. Normally flattering, however not genuine as I haven’t been able to pass for that young in a long time! I wish. Other customers in-line offered some of there items outside the store and said they’d had similar experiences w her. Anyways, don’t forget ID if she’s working but definitely visit this location because I have yet to find a better liquor store on the island.

Pos: nice open space with lots of options. Knowledgeable staff and always eager to help.

Beautiful store with a great selection of products sourced both locally (yay!) and from around the world. I especially love the variety of educational/pairing classes that they offer. Recently participated in the wine and chocolate pairing class and was so impressed with how much I learned and as expected, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and chocolate!

I can’t say enough about this place. Excellent and helpful service, a great selection of everything, and it’s not surprising because the owners are wonderful people. The Tudor House Liquor Store is a wonderful example of modern architecture, a sight to behold. When you visit, you MUST go upstairs and poke your nose into the scotch room (go up the stairs at the back left of the store) and wine cellar.

I like to support this place and I even feel guilty if I buy liquor from anywhere else… even if I’m not in Victoria! I highly recommend a visit.

Had one day tour in Victoria and visited the store which is located a bit far from the downtown area. Was amazed by their collection of whisky (scotch and bourbon). Definitely check it out when you are on the island and it is totally worth the trip.

They have a vast collection of wines, Bourbons and Port's any type of beer you can think of the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful

Fabulous selection of spirits from local spots and from afar. The tasting bar is fun when one of the staff is there to do tastings. I've enjoyed a few of the classes held upstairs and look forwards to more. They're good on social media, have a great selection, pretty interior and live plant wall. It's worth a trip!

Cask & Keg closed, so I decided to meander over here, and I was pleasantly surprised with the great selection and good prices, I like how you aren't overcharging for your tallcans like some places do. I prefer this place to Spinnakers in Vic West. This is my new go to.

For what is a minimal entry fee, you are able to try several items which would cost you hundreds to try if you bought the bottles.

Fantastic! Sometimes I stand in the area of the store that was the kitchen in the old building and reminisce. The staff don't seem to mind or are just on edge with this strange behaviour. But come on down for your weekend bevvy's and give me a wave if you happen to catch me in my spot. It's in the entrance way so.... All joking aside. Really well run store and neatly kept. Staff are all courteous and knowledgeable about the products. I recommend highly if you are in the area or wish to have your adult beverages delivered directly to your door they now conveniently offer that service. Cheers!

This is possibly the nicest liquor store I have visited. It is beautiful. The architecture is modern and enticing while living green walls give it an eco-friendly and natural feel. They have an excellent selection of everything from rare tequilas to local craft beers and have a sumptuous whiskey selection with a tasting room for monthly events. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is ample parking. They make buying booze an even more enjoyable experience.

Great selection, competitive pricing, has lots of stuff the government liquor stores don’t have. Really nice ambience and displays. Fabulous scotch and wine room upstairs.

Wonderful architectural building, bright and inspiring.They have one of the best Spirit sections, Canadian/ local, Irish, Scotish, American and Japanese offerings.
The Manager Matt was very friendly knowledgeable and professional. I will be shopping here more to fill out my home whisky shelf.

I like the open air concept with vaulted ceilings and loads of windows for natural lighting and awesome walls of living plants!Well Done indeed. Good selections of beer wine and spirits! Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. I miss the old Tudor House and would've like to seen a rebuild of the original building that stood there for a hundred years. But this is a beautifully designed building .I am quite impressed that some architecture got taught to someone in the last decade.lol
