Hammond Museum Of Radio

Fascinating exhibits! From beginners' galena crystal radios, the first tube-based radios through to commercial and military broadcast systems. Even a Russian tank radio! Follow the growth of radio receiver and broadcast technologies. Beautiful cabinetry, craftmanship and engineering. Our guide Noreen was patient with our questions, and extremely knowledgeable on the technologies. If you've ever listened to a radio, there's something interesting for you at the Hammond Museum of Radio in Guelph. (P.S. No entrance fee, but donation box on the way out helps with their work.)

Loved it!! If you're interested in the history of wireless radio, you'll want to visit this museum. Excellent maintenance, preservation, and display of the earliest roots of modern communication, all the way up to a fully operational current amateur radio station. Nori gave our small group an excellent tour...with passion!
