River Rock Casino Resort

Just wanted to say thank you for making our stay great! From the ease of check in (family said it was the easiest hotel we’ve ever checked in to) to finding our lost electronic device and following up with us! (Thanks Loretta and staff!!!). Pool was great and clean and location to transit and shopping was great! Would come back and highly recommended.

Great hotel staff, awesome buffet upstairs, little pricey but worth it, and within the casino, the food court has great burgers, pizza, and Chinese food. Chef Ramsey's restaurant isn't open as of last visit but soon I hear. The casino boasts some excellent slot games great variety of 1¢ to $1 slot denominations. Table games are plenty as well with side rooms and private for those wanting discreet and quiet gambling time. Slot also has two high roller areas which are hit and miss depending on time of day for crowd. I personally haven't seen it packed in those rooms for slots but that is the time of day I have been there. Overall this Hotel Casino is on the top of my list in the Vancouver lower mainland area. The staff are incredible very knowledgeable and always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and that's a big plus. They are there if you win a large sum and make sure that you get home safely. A beautiful setting too, right on the mighty Fraser River on Lulu Island in Richmond, close to the airport and the Canada Line runs right to it at the Bridgeport Station where buses and SkyTrain meet. Cabs are always there and Valet parking available for those who drive in. Ample parking with two large parking lots that are covered except the top floors. Hotel is on both sides of the complex as it is split between by a road but for those staying on the east side of the complex there is an overhead walk to get you into the main part of the lobby and the casino is on the main floor. This resort has some of the friendliest staff I've come to know which elevates

There is a lot going on and in a great location. Lots of things to do and see. The shuttle is right outside the hotel side of the resort.

Rooms were nice, had a slight issue with the sink that was promptly taken care of.

Many things to offer from the casino to the water slides.

Didn't get a room. Actually stopped in for the casino after dropping off a friend at the YVR. Lots of parking. A bit of a walk from parking lot to casino but covered ,sheltered from the weather. Rainy Vancouver. On my way in. Wish me luck

My favourite casino game is Craps, and I absolutely love the stadium-style table that they have. I also love the fact that you can bet $1 on a number, as long as the total table bet is $5 or more.

The dealers have always been super friendly with me, so they made my visits very welcoming the last 3 times I've been here.

The restaurant is currently under renovation.

The Food court has the best won ton soup if you find your self getting poor on the Slot machines Eat at the Food court Because If you lost some money Atleast you can say your last meal till pay day was The great Won ton soup at River Rock.

Attended another event here and the staff are THE BEST! Excellent service and very helpful. I was also part of an event in the past and time after time. The staff here put in a solid effort to make everyone happy! If you are seeking a space for your next event. Here it is!

Excellent location for a quick skytrain trip into Vancouver. It was easy to get to and from the Vancouver canucks and Rogers arena. Decent rooms. Restaurants were good and not too expensive except the buffet.

We had to travel to Vancouver for medical appointments. Because of the weather we decided to fly out a day early (this tuesday) last minute to beat the snow dump and our original booked hotel did not have availability for the additional night.

We picked the River Rock based on location to the airport and the fact that we would have a few hours to kill before we could check in at the other hotel the next day, so casino sounded like a good way to do that.

I cannot say enough about how incredible the service was. We arrived late at 11pm (flight delays) and the front desk and was friendly and courteous on our arrival. We had left a note on the reservation explaining the medical reason for travel and gently asked for a later checkout. Not only did they accommodate our request, they had upgraded our room at a lower rate than the original booking, both in the Casino Tower.

Ordered room service breakfast which was fairly priced and well cooked.

Once we checked out we were able to securely store our bags through the front desk staff and kill a few hours in the Casino.

Valet parking staff also was kind with recommendations for most economical taxi/uber options during this snow storm, as well as helped load our bags when our driver arrived.

The rooms are a bit dated but clean and the dated decor did not bother us one bit based on the service we received.

Thank you Team RiverRock, you helped make a very stressful trip a little more bearable!

I went in with a set amount of money to gamble with, lost every dime, and still had a great time there.
The room was better than expected, buffet was delicious and well priced, I just wish there was another bar in the casino.
Looking forward to my next visit!

EDIT: Spoke with senior executive management, who took ownership of the poor front desk experience, apologized, explained how the situation arose, and "made it right". Can't say enough good things about how they turned this experience around. Would absolutely return for another stay in the future.

Hotel refused to honour my reservation and rate, despite my having a reservation e-mail confirming it from over a month ago. Poor service. Front desk manager was not helpful and started getting into an argument with me at 12:30am with my ten year old in tow.

I feel bad for the rest of the front desk team, who had a much better attitude and demeanour.

The rooms are also clean and nice, and the property is easily accessible from the airport.

None the less, 1 star review across the board. As someone who has stayed countless nights here, and as someone who books people here as part of work travel, I won't be back.

We were lucky enough to win a stay of over $500 from the casino. It was a lovely evening filled with fun, music, and a VERY comfy bed! We loved it

This was the absolute worst experience in a hotel and casino I have ever had. It was disgusting how I was treated, I would never recommend the River Rock to anyone.

My spouse and I got a babysitter and decided to have a night out. We both work a lot of hours and have stressful jobs. We drove 1.5 hours to get here and when we arrived the night asking situation was atrocious. We then got to our room and you could tell it had been cleaned weeks prior and never refreshed. Dusty/streaky mirrors, dust on all the surfaces and just a stagnant smell in the room. We brushed it off and decided “ We didn’t come here to complain about the room, let’s go have fun.” We got down to the casino and played for about a hour and a half. In that time I had two drinks and didn’t finish either. My spouse smokes and had gone outside and I had decided I wanted to order food. I went on skip and decided pizza, went outside to ask my spouse what he wanted and when I went to go back into the casino was still on my phone. The “security guard “ ask me to look up and I did and then asked me to step to the side which I did. Another man came over and said “Your eyes are red and you’re too intoxicated to come in” I looked at him and said pardon me? I have had two drinks and I am aware my eyes are red- I have been up working on my computer since 5:00 am. He then said I don’t care your not coming in. My spouse then got upset, and we tried talking to security, and explain we are staying here and I have literally had two drinks, the one man said go deal with hotel management. Speaking with hotel management was a 3 ring circus in its self. The management had zero idea how to speak with people, zero customer service skills and was just rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. He then called security because my spouse wanted to tape the conversation because he was literally that rude. The security guard who had originally told me I was too drunk to be in the casino came back and said “ Hey Karen, no one cares you can leave” my name isn’t Karen he was trying to be rude to me.

All I can say is steer clear. This establishment has poor leadership, poor management and absolutely no idea how to treat customers. If you are wanting to spend 500.00 on an executive suite for the night that’s musty, dusty and outdated then get disrespected and called names maybe this is the place for you.

I've stayed here every year for the past few years, hotel rooms are always clean and beds and pillows are super comfy however the pool this time was so merky and had lots of yucky floaties and was cold :( besides that the stay was nice as usual.

This is the closest casino to YVR. Many slots & table games like several blackjack, UTH, free bet blackjack, pai gau poker, 4 card poker, roulette, 1 craps. The good thing is if you want, they will provide you a cheat sheet of the basic strategy of blackjack.

Dealers are also friendly.

Awesome location, so close to YVR airport, easy transit by skytrain.

Hotel is old, but still offers good beds and services. The river view room can watch some great sunset and plane landing.

The pool/water slide is so fun for family.

Buffet is okay, not that great compared to before Covid.

Casino has many slots machines and a wide range of table games. Lack of some live performances inside the casino, but gaming wise, it is pretty fun.

Stayed here for a transit from YVR. Will definitely revisit! Casino was so much fun and not intimidating as some I had been in Vegas. Non-smoking truly fabulous. Room felt somewhat outdated but very spacious, view was nice, pool was nice (with a body slide & hot spa), fitness center fine (no yoga mat), & very conveniently located (take the skibridge from the station - I took the train after 11 pm from YVR and it felt totally safe). Lots of families visiting and a conference going on... a place I felt very safe yet very fun as a solo traveler.

Great overall high end experience! Exactly what you'd expect from a casino resort! Great views on marina side. Food left to be desired in the lounge.
