Goldstream Falls

Entering this site via the campsite. Lots of stairs but a beautiful short quick trail that leads you to a waterfall hidden and tucked away from everything else . It's quite silent here and not a lot of standing room for large groups of 10+. Worth checking out especially if you're already on the campground. Not sure if you can view if you're not in the compound.

Loved it! Nice picnic area leading up to a well-worn but sturdy set of stairs, partially built into the hill. It is a lot of stairs but my 77 year old grandpa can do it so you can too!

A must-see if you visit Goldstream Camping Ground. After passing the waterfall, you can also meet the railroad tracks. In summer, I want to soak in the water.

Beautiful park, trails and waterfalls. It got quite busy as the morning went on. The campsites have a lot of trailers with generators going.

Goldstream Provincial Park has an abundance of beautiful, well maintained hiking trails. A very nice, relatively short hike is the trail that runs along the Goldstream River from the gatehouse up to Goldstream falls. A word of warning, there is a fairly steep climb as you get closer to the falls, and there is a long staircase down to the waterfall itself. The stairway has recently been upgraded with synthetic wood steps and metal landings...very solid and very safe. The waterfall is definitely more spectacular during the winter and spring months when the water levels are high.

Beautiful and very green! Walked to the falls and the Arbutus loop. Took about an hour and a half, a little muddy in places and a steep climb back up from the falls, but good stairs.

A short walk beside the river reveals the prize of a waterfall and whirlpool at the end. Well maintained access via a long stairway, may need to be climbed gradually.

Nice little waterfall, the hike from the visitor parking lot to the waterfall is no very long and is easy, just a little up hill jus before to get to the waterfall, and a long stairs to get to the waterfall. Definitely worth it. Suitable for all family

There are nearly 200 steps of sturdy stairs that go right down to the base of the falls.

There was a small parking lot on the right just before the goldstream campground check-in building. From here you walk past check-in, there is a pit toilet to the right and then the trail access up on the left. Trail was a bit muddy in spots but plenty of well placed logs and rocks to hop along to keep your feet dry. There is one short steep section before the falls and a large staircase leading down the actual falls. But lots of sitting area and overall didn’t encounter many people it was a very white and relaxing walk. We went out through the arbutus loop that tracks you back through the campground. It’s definitely family friendly but the stairs at the falls might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

I had Niagara Falls at Goldstream Park dozens of times but I had yet to see Goldstream Falls, when I finally did, I was blown away by how beautiful the trails were and even though the falls are much smaller than Niagara Falls, Goldstream falls are still incredibly beautiful.

Tranquility and serenity amidst a beautiful canopy of evergreen trees. If it’s rained just prior, the approach trails could be a bit muddy and touch to navigate.

Amazing hike & well maintained path. Lots of different elevation change. About 25 min hike to falls & definitely worth the visit!

Great place for some fresh air. A decent walk to enjoy mother nature herself. Not to mention the sound of the water falling is priceless.
