We needed a specific transportation solution a few months ago. On a whim we called Alopex. Samantha at the Castlegar branch could have easily passed as this is not a typical service offered by Alopex but she saw an opportunity and made it happen, selling the concept to management and working with multiple offices.
Since then we've been working with Alopex regularly and it has been perfect and fantastic. Samantha has been a true pleasure to deal with displaying an unmatched friendly and positive outlook along with exceptional customer service traits.
A shout out to the intrepid driver Neil who gets it done and gets through regardless of what is in his way, Barry from Kelowna who steps in as a manager doing relief driving, Geoff offering vacation relief and Chelsea in accounting.
Clearly Alopex is good at hiring good people, and the positive can do attitude is an obvious part of the company's culture.

Great service and relaiable

After my package was delayed for a week due to severe weather, I was able to pick it up at the depot with the help of their customer service line who verified it wasn't on a truck. Really impressed with the helpfulness and understanding from the customer service woman. That said I have to wonder why there was such an extreme delay when the weather report was for the day after my original ETA and not in our local area. Furthermore it cleared up the rest of the week yet was still delayed.

I was very happily surprised to receive my shipment on a Saturday, very much appreciated.
The only thing marring this delivery is that when the driver left he "peeled" away from our property. This description comes from my husband and very upset neighbor. In his haste to leave he sprayed their yard and house with road gravel, unintentionally I am sure. I have to apologize, after receiving your response I queried my husband regarding a description of the "regular" courier van and it was definitely not your company.
Your company does deserve the 4 star rating though because your drivers have made several deliveries and I have yet to commend you on your service.

Parcel delivered to neighbours home even tho address was clearly written on package and on top of that was left in the rain! Not able to locate phone number to file complaint with Alopex Castlegar. Frustrating.
