I am from Saskatchewan and purchased a gravel bike from Chris. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Chris was quick to respond to my emails and sent me multiple pictures of the bike. He also sent me a detailed explanation of how he packed the bike for shipping and pictures of this as well. Not only did I get a great deal, but shipping was free too. I would 100% recommend phoning Chris to see if he can help you with your next bike purchase.

It was a pleasure to work with Chris to buy a bike through him. He was knowledgeable, patient with lots of questions (I'm between sizes), responsive in emails and phone calls, and does a great job of customer service. Even with the big questions about bike availability during a pandemic, he reaches out with updates (instead of waiting for the customer to ask), and is obviously on top of and cares about the orders he has from customers. I wouldn't hesitate to buy something else from Chris and Kootenay Valley Cycles -- if he carries or can get something that you are looking for, I would use him for sure!

Chris was awesome to deal with. He was able to get me the exact Niner RLT RDO that I wanted. It happens to probably be the only bike like it on the East Coast. Chris bent over backwards to get me the bike, and kept me updated along the way. He helped by running cables, and always answered when I had a question as I was building it. I will never deal with another bike shop. KV has earned a loyal customer.

While looking for some small flat pedals for my wife, I came across Kootenay Valley Cycles on the web. They had a great selection of both bike accessories and apparel. Although the pedals brought me to the site, I ended up picking up an Assos Trail Jersey and some 100% RYTHYM Merino Wool Socks as well due to great prices. The order was shipped pretty much immediately, and I received the order in rural Paris, ON a week after I placed the order. Great products, great prices, fast shipping across the country and a personal follow-up by Chris via email to ensure I received the items, and see how I liked the Assos jersey. What more could you ask for...definitely will shop here again.

I have purchased several items from KVCYCLES and been very pleased. Chris is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I've purchased two Craft brand road cycling bib shorts and a jersey and am very impressed with the fit and quality and this is coming from someone who is very picky about his cycling kit. Chris is just getting started so that's why you may notice there's not a huge inventory on the website but just ask if there's something you're looking for and he can likely get it for you. If your looking for lower end bikes and apparel you're in the wrong place, however if you wanted a high end lightly used demo mountain bike at a great deal I think he has a couple. Not for me, Roadie for life. Couple of sic gravel bikes on there though lol.

Few tasks are more frustrating than shopping for bike accessories online during the lockdown. But once I placed my order with KV Cycles, I got meaningful, personalized attention that made the entire exchange into a stellar experience. I love my new helmet and I appreciated the service at least as much.

Chris at KVC is great to work with, and even though the pandemic bike shortage created challenges in getting my new gravel bike this year, he was amazing to work with...helpful all the time and always willing to chat to make sure we were getting the right bike for us. Definitely appreciate it, and I'd recommend Chris and KVC without reservation!
