Dominique in the Beauty Department could teach a class on customer service. She went above and beyond to get me information about a product that's been out of stock for while. Even though I came in knowing what I needed to buy, she made comments about the products showing off her extensive product knowledge. While she was busy helping me, she still made sure every customer walking through was acknowledged. She also had to reprimand someone using a product that was not a tester and did it in the most polite way. If you go in having questions about skincare, make up, etc., ask for Dominique. She is wonderful!

Been picking up my prescriptions from here for years ~ the staff have changed over many times, but I find them invariably patient, co-operative and efficient even on their busiest days

Hiii, I had a great experience at this store with Sherri. She helped me to buy Miss Dior perfume and a curly iron on my birthday for myself, and made my day, she helped me to save mostly 50,000 point that it means mostly $50 :) It was a kind of gift to me on my birthday, and worthy to me. Besides, she helped me to fix a problem with my Optimum card!!!

I can't speak for the rest of the store but the pharmacist I had was very accommodating and almost immediately had my prescription ready. I was so surprised, I did call in ahead but usually when I come in I still have to wait at least 30 minutes even when I do call ahead. The service from this one pharmacist was excellent!

Dominique in the skincare dept. was so incredibly helpful, I wish that I would have gone to this shoppers to begin my Reversa skincare journey. Dominique took the time to explain the products that I was looking for and emailed me information about the products as well. I will definitely be going back to get all my skincare from this location!!! Thank you Dominique for the wonderful customer service!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kerry H, the Beauty Manager last night. She was so wonderful! Kerry spent a lot of time with me while I was picking out my new skin care. She truly went above and beyond to help me.

I stopped in Shoppers to pick up a new moisturizer. I have extremely sensitive and intolerant skin. Sherri in the cosmetics department truly went above and beyond. She helped me decide which product to choose based on my problems, used testers to show me the differences, gave me samples of other products that may work well for me, and she let me know if I spent a few dollars more I’d be able to get $30 in points with the current promo. Which was an obvious choice, I asked her to help me find the type of foundation I was looking for and she even found me a hypoallergenic dermatologist tested one in the price range I was looking for!! Sherri helped me colour match it and let me know how long I had to return if any of the things I bought didn’t work out for me. I honestly think this experience has convinced me to start buying all my cosmetic products here instead of Sephora. The service I received at the downtown Shoppers Beauty Boutique was great too!! The last time I asked someone at Sephora if a cleanser would be appropriate for my skin type all I got was “I don’t know, if you’ve used their brand of products before it should be,” not even a separate suggestion. They carry a lot of the same brands, as well as other high end ones that Sephora doesn’t. And really, who doesn’t love being able to rack up points buying gas and groceries to exchange them for cosmetics!? Wins all around. So glad I stopped by.

My roommate and I spilled a bag of rice and we didn't have a broom, so we went on over to Shoppers to pick one up.
We are new to the area, so we didn't know the layout of the store and did have some issues finding the broom aisle.
Not to worry; a bright-eyed young employee was at our service immediately! This young man, Andrew, brought us to the broom aisle without a moment's hesitation. Unfortunately, this particular location was all out of brooms (no fault of Andrews'). Normally this is where consumer assistance ends, but the keen witted employee went the extra mile by suggesting nearby locations which may still have a broom for us to purchase.
After some more small talk, we left feeling fulfilled and reinvigorated.

We made an appointment with Adrian through Melodie. She was very helpful over the phone giving us information about Adrian and the Travel Vaccines appointment. Adrian responded right away and got us booked in. When we went to the appointment he sat down with us and explained all possible shots to us and answered all of our questions. If we went to a doctors office I feel we would not have had that much time to ask questions and understand everything that was explained to us during this appointment. We got our shots then and there. It was such an easy process. Thanks Melodie and Adrian for the amazing service and experience.

My partner and I visited Adrian at the shoppers travel clinic before our trip to a resort in the Dominican, and let me tell you, it was well worth it!

Adrian was very kind, friendly, and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions (I had many) and gave us a lot of useful information about where we were heading, the potential risks, and the different vaccines and medications available. He had reviewed the area we were visiting before our arrival and was able to readily speak to our needs and answer questions. He was very understanding of my hesitancy to receive more than one vaccine (particularly at once) and helped us weigh our options. He really seemed genuine and to have our best interests at heart, you could tell he wanted to help us be safe and prepared for travel while making sure we were comfortable with the amount of medications and cost.

During our trip, my partner broke out in a rash on his legs a few days after arriving and I emailed Adrian to get his advice. He responded immediately and kept in contact with us throughout the trip, even following up a few days after we were back to see how my partner was doing! It's service like this that's hard to come by and I will definitely be back in the future. If you want peace of mind preparing for safe travel and a trustworthy service I highly recommend visiting Adrian at the shoppers pharmacy.

This is my go-to Post Office when I need to pick up some of my online orders. If you happen to get Marlene you're in luck. She is the kindest lady and always gives everyone a huge smile, whether it's early in the day or late in the evening. I bring almost all my orders here because she makes it seem like it's no problem at all for her to help you out.

Excellent service on May 11, 2020 in early afternoon. When I was in line for the cashier, another customer was standing way too close. The young cashier immediately notified the other customer about social distancing. I really appreciated the cashier taking immediate action to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Owen has to be one of their best staff! He’s very enthusiastic to give recommendations about over the counter medication, and has a plethora of knowledge. Top that with social skills, and it makes him the package deal! The guy is a saint. Sincerely appreciated the advice for my allergies and cold problems. Thanks for being such a humble professional Owen!!

And was helped by Dominique in the perfume dept.
She recommended some other scents and they were great, but I went with what I had initially gone in for, however their new line smells fantastic as a side note.

I was visiting Calgary and got sudden onset of sore dry throat. I came in for DIY feel better meds, and the pharmacist Owen actually swabbed my throat and tested it on the spot to conform strep. I am now leaving with a prescription, consultation and he sent everything to my family physician in Edmonton. Great attitude! I feel so cared for and like an actual person. Incredible service from Owen - I was feeling like absolute garbage, and now I feel like garbage who is cared for. ♡

My local pharmacy was closed and my Blood Glucose testing meter crapped out on me. They were quick to offer me a free replacement, VERY much appreciated! Great service, very understanding given my condition.

I was helped by pharmacist S. Roach and she listened to me and gave me exactly what I needed to remedy my problem. The location is great and sometimes busy, but the attendants always work quick to get the job done. Perfect!! Thanks!!

Jayna was fantastic! Super friendly and got me the lowest price and best options to get my (very late) Christmas gifts out to friends and family. I know it can be a thankless job, especially with everything going on in the world right now and this time of year and particular, so thank you Jayna for being kind, polite and helpful 🙂

This is my favourite Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary! From the cashiers (Gaby who is my lottery lucky charm) to the wonderful cosmetics staff & manager (Sherri & Karry (sp?). I've always found the cosmetics staff to be VERY helpful both in person and over the phone. They take the time to help you find what you need - Even if it's not at their store. I haven't used their pharmacy at this store but the rest of the store & staff are really very good! Cashiers always ask if I need help when I buy more than I can carry (or they will call for assistance). I've never had to ask. Great 5-STAR customer service!!!
