Great place to stay. Rooms are clean and the staff treat you like a good friend. The views are spectacular also.

Spacious room, very clean, everything was stocked. We had a comfortable and quiet, perfect & relaxing stay! We loved every minute and will definitely go back! I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.” Staff was absolutely amazing from being friendly, polite and asking if we need anything for our 3 night stay. We stayed here in one of the chalet here during our road trip for two nights. The chalet is decent, clean with good facilities. The location of this place is amazing. It's a great place to enjoy early morning coffee in the back porch looking at the bay. Definitely will stay here again next year for the trip. Out of 7 places we stayed during our trip, this had the most character and enjoyable. When I asked my family what was the one destination they want to go back to, this was in top two

Fabulous self contained unit with small kitchenette, bathroom, 2 queen beds, dining room table and chairs. Comfortable easy chair with overhead lamp. Sliding glass door to covered patio with Adirondack chairs. Picnic table in expansive lawn in front of the chalet. Amazing view of the lake. Black out curtains.

This lodge was much nicer than I expected. Front desk folks were always welcoming and lovely. My room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Nice view of the lake for dinner. No complaints here!

Comfy beds and great customer service. Wonderful recommendation for Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh's (say it like Kay-lee) live music. It was a 15 min walk there and back. Lots of other folks doing the same.

Enjoyed our stay at Silver Dart Lodge. Clean rooms and nice staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the dinner buffet was average. Overall great experience though!

Decided to drive the Cabot Trail and this was a good stopping point. Rooms were very clean but showing their age a bit, nothing major. The beds were super comfortable and the grounds are very well kept with a lovely view of the lake. Nice outdoor pool and play area for kids. Will definitely stop here again.

Silver Dart Lodge took me back to my childhood. We arrived to this beautiful property after a couple of days on the Cabot trail. We chose the location of Baddeck as it was close to other activities we had planned. The property is devided into several buildings, we stayed in the west side building you park at your door and the back looks out onto the Bras d'Or lake, best part is you can walk out onto your deck with lawn chairs and a large grass area with chairs and a wooden lookout platform (great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening). Our room was extremely clean, beds very comfortable, amenities were plentiful. The first morning we went for breakfast in the restaurant. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was a delight. She is a local woman who loves what she does and it shows. She made over the kids and took time to have a conversation with us about our travels. At check in the young woman at check in (again sorry I didnt get your name) was quick, welcoming and very effecient with grounds information. When we returned after our first day touring we found our room was refeshed very well and it was the icing on the cake. The pool area was closed and seemed to be under a renovation, throughout the property it appeared renvations and improvements are being made continously. Excellent couple of days at Silver Dart Lodge!

Really great spot with amazing views. The staff were super-friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. The room was a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

The location is great! The lodge is across from the lake and close to the Cabot Trail. Spacious rooms with comfy beds. We had a spectacular view of the lake from our room. The staff were very friendly and reliable. We had an emergency after hours and the staff showed up within 10 min of call. Highly recommend!

The staff is all I can say. The most amazing people! We had checked in and unfortunately a few short hours later we needed to check out as we had an incident with our toddler. That staff went above and beyond for us and reimbursed our room. I wish I could give a higher star rating. The chalets we were staying in are also beautiful and the view jaw dropping. Thank you to the staff at silver dart we will be back again before the summer is out. You are all amazing people.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and had a wonderful night! We had originally had a cabin booked but ended up leaving because it was dirty! We arrived pretty late but the front desk agent, Ann waited for us so we would have a place to sleep. She was an absolute delight! The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great and we had woken up to a gorgeous view of the Lake in the morning. Wonderful experience overall!

The room was very well cleaned and beautiful view. Due to covid we always thoroughly clean the room before bringing in our belongings to just have peace of mind and my husband could not get any dirt or dust on the wipes! We felt so comfortable and we assured the rooms were very well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and the heated pool was fantastic! Thank you!

Great view from room 32. Comfortable room for a reasonable price, but I don't recommend the breakfast buffet.

Lovely place to spend a night. Wish I could stay longer. Dinner was excellent. Staff are super friendly.

We've been to the SDL twice now. Each time it's been lovely - nice staff, clean comfy room (we stay in the lodges), very comfy bed, great view. The lodges aren't fancy, but we enjoy that cottage feel. We travel with our 75lb Amstaff so we really appreciate having so much room outside to walk around and outside space adjacent to the lodge. Other guests with dogs were also very respectful. Everyone picked up after their dogs. The only dogs off leash were the kind that stay right beside their human (and it was just briefly to play and exercise in the field), so there was zero issue for our dog who cannot be off leash and is scared of other dogs (she's a rescue). We will be back again!

Our room was clean and comfortable we had two easy chairs instead of the usual one. The management was friendly and very accommodating. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful also. We had a great view and a balcony with chairs to enjoy our mornings. Overall a great experience. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
