Can't recommend this place enough! The portions you get for the price you pay is very good value. And the food is amazing quality! You can tell that they actually make their crab and lobster fresh, unlike other restaurants in the area that reheat from frozen. Great selection of Nova Scotia wines! The potato salad was the best I've ever had! I don't even normally like potato salad, but this was made with whole small potatoes and fresh herbs and an in house made dressing. I'm going to dream about that potato salad. I had the crab supper, I was so full but I kept eating mussels anyway because their mussels were delicious! In addition, you can tell all the staff are happy and care a lot about what they are doing. This businesses owned by a local family and hires people within the local community. When you eat here, you're supporting a community effort. Which is very important to me, as post-pandemic a lot of restaurants have been bought up by people who don't even live in the communities that keep them afloat.

Excellent! Fair prices, Great food. Arrived when they opened at 4pm. 15 people waiting for it to open on a weekday. Wife had lobster, I had the maple salmon. Me, Blueberry crisp for dessert. Her, apple crisp. Floated out full and happy.

We had the bucket of mussels, snow crab, lobster, steak and chowder. Everything was delicious! I felt that the chowder had a little too much fish - perhaps personal preference, but if there was a bit more of other seafood or even potatoes it would be better. Food was served quickly and the seafood was very fresh.

The service is outstanding. The food is absolutely delicious. This little gem should be a required stop for everyone passing through town. The hardest part of your visit will be choosing from the menu. Meals are served in a timely manner, cooked to perfection. The steak is highly recommended.

Great place for seafood lovers. We liked that place so much that came in for dinner two nights in the row. “All you can eat “ for the fixed price option is the way to go. I would highly recommend this place for a fresh, tasty seafood and would definitely return if had a chance.

The sea food chowder soup is delicious!
It's rich and creamy, with a well-balanced seasoning that enhances the natural taste of the ingredients.
The exceptional service at the restaurant truly stood out.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Being visitors from Ottawa, eating fresh lobster was an absolute must! Everyone around town bragged about this lil gem! Amazing decor!! You feel the Maritime experience and charm. Our server Sarah made our experience here, even better! She was pleasant, great demeanor, professional and quite helpful in explaining to us how to get the meat out of our lobsters. BADDECK LOBSTER DINNERS IS A MUST DO!🦞 PS: Don't forget to say hi to William on the side! He is smoking you up the most tasty salmon!!!

Loved this place so much that I came two nights in a row. Excellent food and service. I did both a la carte and the all you can eat. Not only is the seafood delicious, but oh my, the desserts are to die for!!

Best supper in all of Nova Scotia. Can't wait to come back again this year. Loved the endless mussels and endless chowder. Almost everything was gluten-free, which I loved ❤😍.

What stood out the most was the service. As a foodie and a traveler, I've been to many many restaurants and I can safely say that this place was in the top 5 for best service. They were warm, inviting and friendly while being professional as well. They were also kindly accommodating and thoughtful. I was a solo diner. Not only were they not dismissive of me and treat me like a waste of a table because I was alone and especially considering they were insanely busy, they made sure I was at a lovely two top table with a beautiful view of the water. No rushing and wonderful service throughout.
I loved the simple and specialized menu. The prices were reasonable and the food itself was absolutely scrumptious. You could tell that the seafood was fresh from the ocean.
When I arrived they had a line up of waiting customers, but it wasn't too long of a wait. This is a popular restaurant with the locals but also very popular with tourists. If you know you're going to go, I would recommend making a reservation if you can.
All in all, this is a must "stop and taste" on the Cabot Trail!

Highly recommended! We ate here twice in a week. The food is delicious and very fresh, the service impeccable. We had the all you can eat every time. For the fixed price of $60, you can have all the chowder and muscles you want, followed by crab, or lobster, or salmon (one portion), with a side of three different salads, plus desert and a non alcoholic drink.

From what we can tell, the prices here are the best for lobster and the food is simple but excellent. We had the lobster and snow crab dinners. Both outstanding. The snow crab is locally caught and the best I’ve had. We also enjoyed the local cider and the oatcake. Highly recommend!

Fantastic deal for the ayce mussels and chowder. Crab legs were fantastic, and I prefer the sweeter taste to lobster. The mains also come pre cracked for an easier time. Dessert options were plentiful and portions were large

Ignore the bad reviews this place was top notch! Be sure to go early to get a table otherwise be prepared to wait a bit, but let me tell ya, it is worth the wait!

We elected to do the all you can eat options of clam chowder, mussels , lobster and crab.

Firstly, freshly made table bread and biscuits were to die for!

Hearty bowls of clam chowder were full of beautiful. Lots of clam, potatoes and not overly creamy which was a nice touch.

The mussels were huge and endless. We each had two heaping bowls, served with melted butter.

The whole lobster and crab entree came with a side salad, some cold potatoes and coleslaw and of course melted butter.

The all you can eat also came with a drink and a dessert. Honestly. Worth it in my opinion to get it and try a variety of menu items. We tried the lemon meringue pie, the coconut cream pie and the blueberry crumble (sorry, ate it before we could take photos!)

Serving staff was great and pleasant. Pricing was reasonable and slightly cheaper than other local restaurants in the area

Went to Baddeck lobster suppers as part of our road trip through Nova Scotia for our honeymoon. We had a lovely talk with our server, who gave us recommendations on where to go for the rest of our trip. If we were in Baddeck longer, we would come back and eat another meal here for sure. Highly recommend to stop by if you’re around.

Had theirs local captured lobster and Cape Breton snow crab. Both were fresh, sweet. The local Island Time beer was great. The service was fine.

If you're going to come here, come with an appetite. Service is great and food is cooked well. Portions are quite large and filling as well. Menu is small here as there are only a few items to choose from but all items are done well. You can't go wrong with a bucket of mussels

Worth a visit

Absolutely Delicious meal! Came here for dinner with my husband as we were passing through Baddeck and I am so happy that we found this restaurant.
I had my first ever Chowder and it was incredible. I also got the heavenly never ending mussels. My grilled steak was also perfect and to finish this incredible meal I ordered a slice of coconut cream pie. The pie was AMAZING! Quite honestly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I definitely want to return and highly recommend.
