Inverary Resort

Drove the hour over from Cabot to enjoy a full day of spa services. While the Spa itself was quaint, and could use a few updates; CHRISTINA is worth the trip alone. She gave me one of the best massages I have ever had, along with an amazing facial, manicure and pedicure. Usually, when you have a full-service provider like this, they excel at one specialty. ALL of my treatments were incredible. Besides being talented, she is just genuinely a lovely person to spend the day with. Can't recommend her enough.

Nice place for a conference or need a place to stay passing through. I stayed in the main lodge which is fairly new. The rest of the resort is pretty old. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lakeside restaurant was closed (season). However, the breakfast and lunch served in the main lodge were good.

Beautiful resort, even in winter. We stayed in the main Lodge with new, large rooms. Heated pool, hot tub, sauna. Walking distance to Baddeck. Nice restaurant.

The Inverary Resort did not disappoint! Conveniently located in the charming village of Baddeck, it offers tactical access to the Cabot Trail. The resort grounds are beautiful and provide the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake.
Our king room had generous square footage, with a sitting area to take in the views of the grounds and the lake. Tastefully designed, the only complaint was that the height of the sink/vanity and wall mirror was not practical for anyone shorter than 5’4”. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. Staff were attentive and professional. I’d recommend the Inverary to anyone looking for accommodations to explore Cape Breton and where they can quickly feel “home away from home”.

Great stay start to finish!
The property is beautiful, front desk attendant greeted us and gave us a map of the property, pointed us in the right direction. We got a call a couple hours after check in to ensure everything was suitable in our room (a nice touch) Room wasn’t overly extravagant but very clean and had all the basics.
Complimentary breakfast was served in a beautiful building with views of the water from every table. Our server Hunter was excellent. Friendly, ensured we were well taken care of.

Was here for a snowmobile trip with friends and we ended up getting storm stayed

Me and my husband stayed at the Inverary resort and had a very pleasant experience. Though we had not pre booked the room, the front desk staff kindly helped us to book the right choice of room at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed the hot sauna, pool and hot tub a lot. The dinner was also good. We had a wonderful sleep, with no disturbance at the property. Property had beautiful views of the lake too. The breakfast had continental options, and was good. Totally we had an amazing experience.
Room was good, but just a suggestion of upgrade in the room especially the washroom where shower was not working properly.

It is a new spacious corner room with two windows, one of the windows has a full water view. The interior design is contemporary. Wood floor, morden furniture. The washrooms and the shower area are elegant. The sensor light in the washrooms was impressive. The room was clean. The service was excellent. The sound isolation was not great, could hear normal conversation next door.

The inverary resort is a welcoming resort with lots to do right on the premises. They have a hot breakfast buffet in their finer dining restaurant. You get to look out over the water as you enjoy your meal. They also have another more casual restaurant where you check in. We thought the meals would be small, more appetizer sized, but there was more than enough to eat. They had a campfire every evening and a pool (and hot tub) that was available any time. The pool is a rectangle so it was possible to swim laps. There are kayaks and party boats you can rent as well. The resort is within easy walking distance to the village of Baddeck.

Friendly staff, great servers, breakfast included. Great views of the Bay and nice small size gym, sauna, pool and hot tub. It would have been nice to have a microwave but they did provide a fridge if I can properly recalled.
Live music on Friday evenings by the main building.

Rooms a little dated but the resort is beautiful. Take the cruise at the dock. Eagles everywhere . What beauty

The resort has a beautiful view of the lake and the grounds are nice with places to sit everywhere.
We had one of the new hotel rooms in the main building and they were very nice with lovely bathrooms. Some have views of the lake.
We had breakfast included every morning. And the restaurant staff are friendly, fast and accommodating.
Beddeck it’s self is beautiful and a wonderful home base for exploring Cape Breton.

One thing to know is that they have live music every night and in some of the hotel rooms you can hear the music. So we asked to move and the front deck staff were wonderful and made the whole process effortless. Again the customer service was excellent!

It's such a pretty pleasant place to stay! All the people as well as the accommodation are so nice that you will be glad you made that experience. Our stay lasted only one night, so we were not able to test all the activities that were offered like golf or aqua sports but we were celebrating the Canada day including the nice fireworks over the sea - amazing! If you'll ever make your way passing that area, you will enjoy it. Including in your rates you will be able to use the gym, the pool and outdoor bathtub and the breakfast.

I received a mother's day spa treatment from my daughter and son inlaw. My daughter and I each had a one hour full body massage and one hour facials. We were treated by Katy (massage for me) and Belinda (facial for me) and Jenna and Christina. We were treated very well and were thoroughly impressed by the whole experience. I highly recommend getting in touch with the Inverary and setting up appointments with these ladies!!!

I booked in March for our stay in late May and the woman I spoke to was both efficient and friendly. Our room in the new lodge was perfect for us...very clean and nice. The food and service at the restaurant was great and the staff also recommended an excellent restaurant off-site ( the Freight Shed). It is a great location and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. Would definitely recommend.

Originally only booked for one night but added an additional night after check-in. The first room in 'the Old Barn' was lovely and the building had a very pretty common room. My second room in the 'Wagon House' made my jaw drop. It was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and third bed located in an upper loft area. The food was great. And the included breakfast surpassed my expectations.

We booked a jet ski experience which is on the property and a last minute change in our plans meant we needed an night in a hotel. The resort offers so much. We booked one of the smaller rooms and it was upgraded where it counts with great beds and wonderful A/C. The front desk staff were awesome. Would love to come back again.

Overall a very pretty spot. Stayed over the winter and the outdoor hot tub was fantastic. Cabins are clean and in good shape. The new lodge is gorgeous, and the food is excellent.

The rooms are mostly standard, clean hotel style rooms... But the property is great. Bras d'Oro lakes water frontage, night time bon fires, live music.
