Courtenay Mazda is our go to place to find a vehicle and again, it did not disappoint. Austin, Mike and Chad made our purchase easy and fun. This is the second vehicle we've purchased with Austin as our sales person and he's really great to deal with. Knowledgeable and friendly, without being at all pushy. I had the pleasure of purchasing my newest vehicle at Courtenay Mazda through one of their sales associates - Travis, and had the financing completed with Chad. Both of these fellows were extremely helpful and made the experience well worth the personal chaos that I encountered during the process. I found the exact vehicle I had been looking for online through auto trader and reached out via email to enquire about the details. I'm from the North Island and had been looking specifically for a white Jeep Cherokee as my previous jeep Cherokee, a 2014, was ready to be upgraded. They were in contact with me in less that 24 hours to arrange for a meeting time and to go over the necessary information and details. On my first trip down Island I had forgotten my drivers license and needed that to make the purchase and get it insured for the trip home. My license was due to expire while I would have been out of the country, so this little "whoops" ensured that I will have valid photo ID while traveling, something I had not thought of prior to this purchase. Not only did I get to buy the exact vehicle I had been looking to purchase for years, but I also was able to prevent myself from having an expired ID in a foreign country.

Going back to the sale, it did end up being a 2 part process (entirely my own fault), but in the end they were able to get me into what is now my absolute favorite ride, a new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Travis was very professional and personable, as was Chad. I highly recommend going to Courtenay Mazda and chatting with these 2 gentlemen if you are in the market for a new/new to you vehicle. I'm a Jeep girl at heart, but they have many other great makes and models of a wide variety of Mazda vehicle selections, and a good selection of various other brand names that are all in pristine shape. My experience with them was fantastic, I will definitely be keeping them on the top of my list for a place to purchase future vehicles, no other place I have been to can even remotely compare to the top notch treatment I received while working with them.

Another kudos to their insurance gal, who made sure I had exactly what I needed to be safe on the road and ensure that the coverage I had would protect me from being stuck with having to pay out of pocket for replacement should anything happen to me on the road or off. She was very personable and made the process quick and easy, as well as provided me with additional contact information for her in the event I had any questions or concerns.

Last but not least, the owner himself also made a point of coming and introducing himself (I'm drawing a blank on his name at the moment - my apologies!), and he was equally as kind and helpful as his employees. A good leader yields a good moral & quality of work within a business and it truly showed during my time spent with all of you, well done!

I had my heart set on a particular car in 2021 but Cancer decided to make life complicated. Two years later it was definitely time to bite the bullet and get a different ride. I enquired at Mazda about a couple of used offerings that were within a pensioner's budget. Emma responded with alacrity and was most pleasant to work with.
