I was recently on a trip to Victoria and dropped by the store to grab a pair of trail runners. A few weeks later I found a fault however I live in Sydney. I gave them a call and ROB was only too happy to contact the supplier and show them what it happened in photos. A new pair just arrived in post today and I’m very happy with their follow up service. I wouldn’t hesitate to order online from this great regional store. They specialize in trail running and have great technical gear.

Every time I go to Bright, whether for cycling or skiing, I visit Everest Sports. They have a great range of sport specific clothing and equipment and always have some fantastic 'specials'. I can highly recommend their own imported brand of ski boots which have proven comfortable, durable and effective as well as excellent value. Shop staff were extremely patient and knowledgeable during the fitting process. I look forward to my next visit when I hope to select some new skis more suited to the Hotham / Falls Creek area.

I have had a terrible experience with this store getting bindings mounted with quiver killers, which was exactly what happened...it killed them! It left me with two sets of skis that were nonfunctional days out from an overseas ski trip and the problem is still not resolved over a year later and it is now with consumer affairs as they have changed their offer of compensation from $950 to $500 when I suggested an alternate amount.

It was not evident until I got home after picking them up from getting quiver killers installed with the new bindings. That both bindings would not fit to either set of skis as a pair, some inserts were just sitting there and not glued in, some fell out, not aligned, not installed square, some not flush so I raised my concerns with the store. The person doing the mounting then claimed in an email that he mounted "10,000 skis and that +- 10mm drilling a hole on a ski does not matter". "An insert comes out, we glue it back in, it is not rocket science just means that insert didn’t get enough araldite." When no evidence of araldite had been used on some of the quiver killers. These skis never even got the chance to be used after mounting, it failed on the kitchen table.

They wanted the skis back for a chance to fix the issue, but I would not trust their work after the example shown in the photos. Would you? However, if the defect is considered major under the Australian consumer law, I do not need to give them a chance to fix and can claim the cost of repair elsewhere as I believe it is not fit for function or safe in a resort let alone using my setup in the backcountry as my primary means of transportation I did not want to write this complaint and is why I have left it for so long, but I find reducing the original offer when trying to come to an agreement unacceptable let alone the quality of mounting.
