Bright Sweet Shop

As far as sweets shops go this one is certainly a winner!
Thera is a massive selection of lollies, fudges, choclates, jelly bellies and ice cream.
I wanted to buy everything in there! There is a great collection of mugs for sale as well. They make hot drinks and there is indoor and outdoor seating available. We opted for outdoor in dappled shade on the beautiful tree lined street.
The staff are sweet as well, very friendly and helpful.
If you have a sweet tooth definitely make sure to pay this place a visit.

HUGE selection of lollies, not cheap but not expensive either. The lady behind the counter (the owner?) was very helpful and knowledgeable in finding certain lollies and telling me where they were made.
The pick n mix was quite limited but there was so much of everything else it didn't really matter.
I fell in love with the Noofies I wanted to buy one of each, they are so cute and locally handmade too :)

Nice big range of sweets from all over the world. This is the better of the two lolly shops on this street in Bright.

Great little candy shop, has a great range with some strange lollies (even a massive gummy hamburger), has great little knic knacks if you like those kind of things. We got some ice creams as well, they had a great range of flavours with either a cup, cone or waffle. Parking nearby was easy even with the busy summer period. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit if you have kids, just their heads might explode with excitement.

My boyfriend and I visited here the other day, the sweet selection was very large and such a lovely set up! The staff were very helpful and also told us places to visit while we were in bright which was well worth it.

Visiting The Sweet Retreat was a memorable experience for our family. We visited the store twice during our stay in Bright. Very welcoming staff, great range of sweets. We will definitely be returning!

Great Old fashioned Candy Shop with a lot of American and Australian Candy's on offer. My son always makes me stop at the sweet Retreat. The owner is a great knowledgeable person and will always have great chat.

Great range of lollies and mugs and other giftware. Love that they have lactose-free milk (Zymil) as I am lactose-intolerant. Had several coffees there and they were fantastic 😚☺

The Nutella hot chocolate is perfect to combat the cold weather, and the selection is lollies is both varied and interesting. Lots of kitsch to enjoy around the store while you ingest three days worth of sugar, and bright decor puts you in mind of a country Willy Wonka experience

Well iwalked into the shop and i nearly fell over the shop was completely full with sweets and a icecream bar of all colours of the rainbow.the sweets there was every kind of sweets you could think off. You wouldnt be disappointed if you went there. I dont eat sweets but i ended up buying 3 bags.

Great little shop for my once a month indulgence. And ice cream all year round!

After riding 75km, and hanging out for an ice cream on a 31 degree day, this place was like an oasis in the desert.
