Woolworths Deception Bay

I'm not sure what his name is, but I've noticed a new worker around mainly on weekends. He's super tall and very very good looking. It's nice to finally have something to look forward to during my weekly shopping trips, which have become almost daily now ;)
Someone needs to promote him to model!! Put him on the weekly catalogue, you'll have me as a lifetime subscriber!

I’m quite pleased to report that I had the most delightful experience at this Woolies location the other day! I was having the worst morning ever, my car wouldn’t start and so I had to walk in the heat which caused my athlete’s foot to flare terribly. My arthritis was also acting up and I could barely move my fingers, but then out of nowhere, an absolute angel of a man appeared! A young man by the name of Benjamin noticed that I was in need of assistance, and he went above and beyond to carry my groceries for me as I went around the store. This was a nice change for me as my own sons don’t even call me anymore, but as long as there are upstanding young men like Ben still around, I can have faith in the rising generations and the future of this country. Long live Australia! 🇦🇺

It's a busy Monday afternoon, a week before Christmas, I'm standing in the chips aisle and the shelf that holds my favourite chips is empty.... A nearby staff member, who was busy getting online orders ready, stopped what he was doing and came to my assistance. He scoured out the back for lil ol' me but there were none to be found. Thank you Bailey for your exceptional customer service and my apologies if those online orders go out a bit late because of my chip obsession. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

Thought I’d pop in as this was the closet woolies near my daughters house... Was pleasantly surprised to see an extremely tall young man willing to help me look for biscoff! After searching extremely hard (the shelves were a bit disorganised) he saw me struggling and offered to help. Given the view around young men today, I’m happy to share that this young man is NOT like the other boys, he helped me look for what I needed while engaging in light conversation with me about different kinds of fedoras he and I enjoy!! With boys like him on the rise I’m sure the younger generation has a chance. I asked for his name and I think he said Benjamin 😁 good job Woolworths for hiring people who care about your customers!!!

Love Woolworths and tbis store was no exception, great products.. Great price and generally everything is located in the same area.. No stress at all

I obviously chose a not so busy time , I was served well & quickly. I also found the gluten free items I was looking for.

New upgrades happening there, very impressive.

It's my go-to supermarket with a great selection. Since I often do my shopping on Thursdays, my family and I frequently visit on that day.

They had heaps of Roast Chickens 🐔. Coles as usual had NONE. 11a.m. on a Saturday! Well done Woolies

Everything you need and awesome staff. This is the best Woolworths store in Australia

Only complaint is the price of meat. It is supposed to be cheaper but for a,small beef roast it is over $30

Did take me a few moments to find a few things, but a new store for me as i just moved. Staff was friendly.
Had a really, really nice man at the self-check out today. Some really funny staff members there.
The parking lot should be access able from multible points.

It will be very interesting to see what changes, if any, Woolworths makes to this store with the impending opening of a Coles supermarket in this centre. My hope is that they will up their game and expand the product lines offered at this store. Similar to the Rothwell Woolworths, I can never find everything I want at this Woolies. This week's missing product is a little unusual, but a staple in my pantry... Grocery manager, if you're reading this, please consider stocking Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs. The staff here are awesome btw!

Update: shortly after posting this review, you'll never guess what turned up on the shelves of Deception Bay Woolworths... Corn Flake Crumbs. A big kudos to the grocery manager for being responsive to customer requests. That alone is worth the extra two stars in my rating!

I get most of my needs met here. Very close to home and quite a bit to choose from.

Always find what I need and never have had to Reconsider my loyalty to Woolworths

It seemed clean and well-presented. Like most Woolworths nowadays. I mostly popped in for cake for a friend, and found that they had instant chicken congee. Instant fish congee would have been good, but being disappointed with the selection at Woolworths is a fact of life nowadays, I'm actually pretty excited they have any congee. The logistics at Woolworths must be a nightmare, and I certainly am not up to the task, but it seems every day that more products I used to buy there are no longer sold. Hmm.. I may be an old man..."Back in MY day!"
