Discount Drug Store Deception Bay

I put urgent scripts in then got distracted and missed closing time by a few minutes! I can't come back tomorrow, I can't miss the medication and the scripts AND pills are inside!! I was able to appeal to staff and he (Sal) was able to speak to the manager and they got it sorted with a big smile!! Well done guys and a huge Thank You to you both. 🤗😊

I was fortunate enough to meet Sal, the pharmacist here.
He couldn't of been more helpful. Cheerful, kind, caring and knowledgeable. Exceptional customer service, I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone in the area, or even passing through there.

It's a pharmacy with a great selection and reasonable prices. Being located inside a supermarket makes it easily accessible and convenient.

This afternoon I had to call Discount Drug Store for help with a problem I had encountered with one of my prescriptions (which ended up being a mistake I had made).

Sal was extremely polite and helpful over the phone and even more so in person, very professional, enthusiastic to help and made the entire experience very smooth and easy. I would recommend anyone to visit here if they are looking for a friendly, professional and helpful pharmacy.

I'm going to call it the "Sunday girls" because it was a Sunday when we went in to fill a script , the service could not get better every single one of the Sunday workers were above and beyond friendly and helpful it was getting old fashion service it really felt like they cared. Went to amcal d.bay tonight with a skin rash. The pharmacist there, and assistant, both mature aged women, gave superb service delivery in both knowledge and good old fashion courtesy. I presented with a skin irritation, and after observations, recommended an antihistamine. The pharmacist even overviewed an allergic reaction I have to a certain group of drugs and was careful and caring enough, to recommend something safer for me. And it worked so well. This service standard was excellent and unmatched. Such caring, professional women, they are positive role models. The pharmacist went above and beyond to be helpul. From Yasmin.F.

After my local AMCAL folded and changed names to the ‘dark-side’ of another chemist - I thought I’d check out AMCAL+ a couple of km’s further from me. Well, AMCAL+ DBay is where I ended up and I am glad I did.

Very grateful at present to this pharmacy. I work most days, waking up at five, finishing before school pickup, and arriving home at 3:30. In this current time of buying out toilet paper, as soon as it arrives, people like myself, who are busy til 3:30 are at a disadvantage. There is nothing left by 3:30. Woolies and Coles were out. Aldi advised me to wait in a line up the next morning. This pharmacy had the foresight to outlay toilet paper at 7pm. Good on them . I only wanted one packet for my family. I will continue to support businesses that to sane things like this.

Easy to book online (much much easier than the government sites), great staff and very painless, extremely quick service.
