Tempest Seafood Restaurant and Teppanyaki Grill

Delicious food. We had the Scarborough platter. Perfect flavours. The flourless brownie was so light and flavoursome. Usually something like that can be quite dense. We timed our visit perfectly with the sunset(6.30pm on a warm January evening). Staff were very helpful and advised us well. The new(?) function spaces really up the ante.

Awesome food with great view. Celebrated Valentines with our newborn here and the staff were very accommodating. We'll be back for a dinner set next time ;)

It's a fantastic seafood restaurant. It's right by the harbor, so you can enjoy a refreshing breeze and good sunlight. There's also a nearby park, and ample parking space is available. It's only a 30-second walk from the parking lot. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is suitable for dates or special occasions. The food is delicious and very fresh. If you're craving seafood or just want a great meal, I highly recommend coming here.

My husband and I had a booking for Valentine's Day this evening. The atmosphere was idyllic, with heart-shaped red towelettes, complimentary after-dinner chocolates, and a fantastic selection of music. Each course of food was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond in being attentive while providing a peaceful experience. I highly recommend Tempest for your next dining out.

We had the Tempest on teppanyaki menu. It’s a fun and unique dining experience. The value is great that food portion is very generous. Food is fresh and it is tasted very good. The only downside is the teppanyaki room is inside a small room without any amazing view the outside seating offers. And the room is not very fancy compared to those teppanyaki in hotels.

We discovered Tempest on a lazy Sunday day out and what a find! Staff are brilliant and attentive and the food is second to none. We had Teppanyaki both visits and were not disappointed. Delicious food, great cocktails and very entertaining chef Luki. Have not laughed that much in a long time. Great interaction for all ages. Well worth a visit . Will not disappoint.

My husband and I visited Tempest during a busy Thursday lunchtime. We enjoyed an excellent three course meal, efficiently served by attentive, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary tonight at Tempest and the food was amazing and the service from the staff was also exceptional 😀

Food was so fresh and delicious, service was fast and friendly and atmosphere was so tranquil, inviting and relaxing. Such an amazing place. Will definitely be coming back.

We loved this place. Mostly because our waitress Jordyn was excellent. She greeted us with a beautiful smile & made us feel like VIP's providing the bestest table service making the whole dining experience the best we've ever had.
Teppanyaki Grill & the hilarious talented chefs are awesome. Food is so yum. So funny and I haven't laughed that hard in ages. Whole experience was amazing.

We've dined at Tempest twice this month. Both times we enjoyed ourselves and the food was perfect. Our first time, we'd booked for our anniversary hoping to have teppenyaki, only to discover it was on at specific times. We still enjoyed our meals and seating on the deck by the marina. The pork belly and scallops were so delicious, and customer service was good.
Last night, we finally got to try the Teppanyaki, we came with no expectations, and it absolutely blew our minds! My husband is difficult to impress, and I could hear him laughing away! Loved the chef. He was highly entertaining. The food was so delicious, it has been a long time since I've had moreton Bay bugs, and he cooked them beautifully. What a wonderful experience it was, and I highly recommend that everyone try Teppanyaki once! We'll be back again for another date lunch and will definitely be bringing the family back to experience Teppanyaki!!!

What a lovely way to spend the afternoon! Great location on the deck over looking the water and marina, glorious food (the soft shell crab and tempua prawns to die for) and exceptional service, would also recommend the oyster shots and good variety of cocktails 🍸

Visiting my daughter and family from Melbourne, we had a wonderful night at Tempest. The staff, service, food and value was extremely good. We all agreed the menu is great, quality of the produce is very high, and the standards of the kitchen are something to be proud of. Thank you, we had a fantastic night!

Food was amazing and so tasty! The chef was very entertaining and made it an enjoyable experience. We've been coming on and off over 20 years and the food is still incredible! An enjoyable fun evening and highly recommend.

Great location, very tranquil by the dock. Food was good, sat outside under a huge covered area and could bring our dog along. They had menu options for one vegan and one fructose intolerant which made life easier. Certain menu items were a little pricey but others were good value. I would return as the whole experience was worth it and it’s such a nice spot for a few drinks and a chat while watching the fishing boats. Thanks to the staff

We have been coming here every Thursday for about 6 weeks and have loved every experience. The last couple of times in particular Josh has looked after us and been incredible. He’s an asset to our dining experience and we will continue to comeback! Thanks Tempest.
