Woody Point Jetty

The place to go for great sunsets. Honestly, sunsets there incredible!

On a side note, the jetty is also open to the public for fishing. Wish I could have taken better pictures of the actual jetty.

Beautiful views from the jetty over to Sandgate and Brisbane City beyond. Great place for fishing and crabbing, picnic tables under cover on the jetty for a fish and chip lunch.

Just came here after work. It is very relaxing with the nice view. Sunset time would be perfect.

Always part of our 10000 steps walking experience. Great to have this destination to attend. Sometimes, we can catch a gorgeous sunset over Bramble Bay. Other times its cool and overcast. The CCTV ensures that the jetty is looked after and respected.

Evenings are beautiful and serene. Walking down the jetty during sunset is a real treat. Perfect place to capture memories with picturesque background.

Nice place to walk, with plenty of fishing spots. It looks really nice, especially during sunset or a cloudy day.

It’s a close distance to all the walking tracks, cafes and restaurants. It’s also pretty close to multiple parks, seating areas, toilets and playgrounds.

Nice peaceful location to unwind and relax. It’s breezy and has great views. Lots of fishing going on.

Enjoyed a lovely sunset walk at the park. Perfect for fishing with bait bins and a designated area (sink etc) for prepping (gutting) fish. Highly recommended!

Mynwife and I went fishing here. And while we didn't catch anything, others did. Good shady areas. Sadly no toilets. Some good fishing as mentioned when the tides are right.

Woody Point jetty is a lovely wooden replica of an historic jetty. With some covered spaces & tables, it's a wonderful spot to view stunning sunsets across Bramble Bay.

Lovely place to visit. Walk along the shore front, stroll along the Jetty. Watch the fisherman do their thing, watch the waves. Park a minute walk away with toilets. Great for everyone.

Very nice place. Went here fishing this afternoon caught a few 😁. Plenty of parking on the streets and lots of shops nearby. Great place for fishing or walk around the beach, play on the playground with the kids. Toilets nearby and are clean.

Relaxing little spot. The water is usually very clear. Great for fishing. A very nice spot for photography at any time of the day. Cafes and restaurants close by. Nice place for kayaking also.

A quick, easy walk to the end of the jetty. Very serene and magnificent to look out and down

Spent a beautiful Saturday morning walking about with a cappuccino among the local fisherpeoples.
Saw some fish and birds and clouds.
What more could you want?
Looking forward to living in this area very soon.

Best place in Brisbane to see the sunrise. Go when there's high clouds and no low clouds for a spectacular show over the water. You'll be treated to radiant oranges and pastel pinks. When the waves are up the water looks unreal as it catches the light.
