Great place to take the kids and dogs. Did a spiritual full moon session at the beach was very nice. The pavilion is good for heavy rain. Lovely atmosphere. Enjoy the sea views. See the moon rise and be a peace with nature

Beautiful park with bbq spots, nice beach and cool playground for toddlers. Usually there is an ice cream truck on the weekend. Parking is hard to find during weekend but worth the hassle since it's a nice place to hang out on the weekend.

Beautiful beach right on the Redcliffe Foreshore. Plenty of shaded areas and free council BBQs to use. Kids will love the play equipment and the beach for activities.

Great Park right next to the beach in Redcliffe. Plenty of shaded areas with places to sit and park benches too. There is a walking cycling path that goes for 10 km between the park and the beach. The park is very well maintained and very clean. There is access to the road above and plenty of parking at either end.

Hot day and a beautiful cool swim at Suttons. Fresh prawns and some raspberries to top it off.
This is a great place for all ages - swim, picnic, bbq, toilets, shelters, table & benches. It's always been a favourite of ours.

Wonderful escape place to come down out of the city for respite from the grind! I can’t down today to see what is happening with the historic beach pavilion which has been threatened with demolition due to safety concerns! It’s quite a splendid construction but IT’s future looks like it’s short lived

Good facilities with clean toilets and disabled toilet with plenty of room to move. Love that this beach is so often visited by famiky groups. Big childrens' fenced playground, BBQs, great shaded areas and a long, luscious beach. It is often cleaned and "combed" to help with any rubbish left behind but I have rarely seen rubbish on the sand. So enjoyable.

Suttons Beach park is at its quiet calm morning early on. Sunrise slowly awaken and forming slowly amongst the clouds l, it’s own style of forming beauty right in my view. Beautiful, peaceful, very relaxing with a nice clean breeze to breathe in.

Easy route access from Redcliffe or from the Hughton highway bridge Clonarf.

Drive all the way through Anzac Avenue to the very end is a T section a big roundabout, turn to the right (3rd exits) Marine Parade and follow all the way towards Margate at a first roundabout is also a T section Marine Parade and McDonnell Road. Tun left is the gated park. Easy to find from the South, just follow along the esplanade and either turn to Snooks Street, Victoria Avenue, Oxley Avenue, all will take you to McDonnell Road turn right. 4 minutes from the Komo Hotel and 1.4 kilometres. Perfect for the family and friends gathering.

Rotunda - Historical landmark in Redcliffe is right here.

It was a lovely spot to enjoy a coffee and a view. On this visit there was a personal trainer with a mini gym set up. I would never have thought weightlifting could be so mobile or scenic. Very peaceful with dog walking, cycling, walking also. BYO coffee.

A lovely "golden hour walk" on the boardwalk by the bay.
Lots of people taking advantage of the fine weather with moderate temperatures.

Great swimming beach, occasional stingers in stinger season, lifeguards on patrol through summer. Surf lifesaving club uses the beach on Sunday mornings during summer, still space on southern end of beach to swim.
Not dog friendly, nice to walk dogs on grassy areas and walkway, but no dogs on beach.

Sutton's Beach is a great destination for a day out for the whole family. With free parking, ample grass areas for picnics, free BBQ’s and winding bike tracks with views for miles. There are picnic tables and also amenities available. The beach is nice and well kept. This is a patrolled beach, perfect for little ones or swimmers after a gentle paddle. The small waves provide a fun splash for kids and a refreshing dip for all ages with the stunning backdrop of Moreton Island. There are beach showers available after a nice dip en the water or a nice nap in the sand. This is really one of the most sought out weekend destination in Redcliffe.

Great place to enjoy the Margate foreshore 🏖. Lots of covered picnic areas with electric BBQ's, seating & tables. Also out under the trees more seating & tables or bring a blanket & sit on the grass. Fantastic spot for a swim 🏊🏊‍♂ especially for children. The Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club is at the northern end. A wide path, enough room for walking or riding your bike 🚴‍♂. Just remember to ring your bell 🔔. Enjoy walking along the path or take your shoes off & walk in the water. Experience Nature & Relax.

Suttons beach is a great place for staying put on the beach and playing inn the sand and water but also a great starting point for walking along the shore in either direction. The cafe (and chip shop) are a safe bet for food, ice cream and drinks. But bear in mind daytime closing hours during winter months.

There are several near path showers to wash of the sea and sand and there are public toilets (with showers) in the same block as the cafe and restaurant. There is also another toilet block further down the beach near the car park entrance and no far from the kids playground.

Well worth the visit to play, sit, watch or just watch the world pass by.

What a lovely place to go for a picnic lunch or barbecue. We went for a barbecue and used their barbecue facilities. The picnic tables were just beyond the sand and the views of the ocean were serene and beautiful. We went for a long walk all around the waters edge which was so peaceful and relaxing. The huge 100 year old bunya pines where our picnic table was are amazing and majestic. The area was clean and well maintained. It is ground level from the road for our participants with walkers and in wheelchairs. It's just a beautiful place to go and be with nature. The waves on to the beach were so gentle and you can walk a long way out it is so shallow.

Nice little spot when the suns out. Bring the bbq stuff with you and make a day of it. Centrally located toilets and play areas for the kids as well as the surf for everyone to enjoy. Give it a go 👍
