Scarborough Beach

Love coming here on a weekday so it's not crowded at all. It's accessible by public transport from Brisbane and it's also super clean! It's very pretty on a nice summer day. There's a nice and clean toilet but I wish they have a shower so I can rinse off sand from my body.

Beautiful beach - excellent for family activities - sunbathing, swimming etc. The Moreton Bay Council perform an excellent job in keeping the beach/ grass areas and parking faculties ( etc) in good condition. This is despite some visitors being uncaring in their treatment of facilities ( BBQ ‘s left uncleaned) and disregard for cleaning up their own mess/ rubbish etc. etc.

Spent the day at the beach and it was absolute perfection! The sun, the sand, and the waves created the ultimate relaxing vibe. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to go back. 🏖 #beachday #summerfun #lovinglife

Beautiful little beach. Nice clear, calm water. Great access, from the shore path and has a small carpark at the beach. I'd say this would fill very fast in the Sumner or even the weekends.

There is a jump pad and exercise equipment at the north end of the beach.

This is a favourite place of mine. We stayed at the Scarborough Beach Caravan, and I took many a walk along the excellent bike and walking paths.

Scarborough foreshore - wheelchair friendly, good for kids (large grassed area, playground, sandy beach), good for walking dogs, BBQ facilities, bicycle repair station, toilet facilities, park benches dotted around the place and plenty of shade.

Very beautiful place, beautiful scenery, not far from Brisbane, about half an hour by car. I was amazed at the quietness and sweetness of this town. Park along the coastline and enjoy your seaside walk. You just need to lay a blanket on the slope of the beach and take out a book to enjoy your sun bath. Very good, Also ，as a shell lover, many beautiful seashells could select on the beach,cockles,balms, I’m lucky select a bottle of that. After shine it, and stick to s board as a gift. very recommended

Came up from Tweed and was blown away by how beautiful the place was.
The kids loved the playground, shooting baskets and spent a lot of time in the water.
Lunch was close by and everyone had an amazing time.

A fantastic still water visit for family, all ages. Walk,bicycle trail excellent in both directions. I'm local but always enjoy a visit.

Awesome park with trees for climbing and lots of structures to play on. The jumping pillow is a lot of fun for the kids. Sometimes older kids are on it as well and while they do take care a little supervision is recommend for the younger ones as they would not have much control. There are 3 benches within the jumping pillow fenced area. It closes at 6pm every night. The playgrounds are fenced as well.The walk way it nice for a stroll as well. Ample benches and a few bbq stations are available for picnics. It's adjacent to the beach.

This is where I grew up 😍 Probably biased thinking it’s the most beautiful place ever. Trees to climb, beaches to roam, swimming, picnic tables, parking, cafes and shops it’s pretty cool 😎 definitely check this place out if your north of Brisbane 😃

Beautiful bench with kids bouncy play area. You can enjoy peaceful walk on the Beach while your child jumping in the playground and having fun.

Great veiws over the bay. Lots of grass areas for picnics and playing with the kids. The BBQ area's are a nice size for family BBQ's or birthday parties. Can get very busy on the weekends.

Absolutely love it,the people the sea the rocky outlet just exploring the crabs , finding oysters, spotted a baby octopus, and the BBQ areas and plenty of shade.

Great beach & park. Use to be a favourite picnic place until I moved less then a year ago. People are friendly and have had many functions including my wedding in 2017.

A very place to get out in the coastal air.
The protected harbour can get choppy but no waves.
Ideal for a swim and with the shallow water area quite large it is also very good for young children.
Public ablutions are in multiple spots.
Big open spaces and BBQ spaces with open and sheltered seating areas
