We moved into Calamvale from the Redlands almost 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. We’ve been shopping for fruit and vegetables with Calamvale Discount Fruit Barn ever since we settled into the area.

The staff on the counters are always friendly towards us and the men packing the shelves often say hello.

Well over a year ago I needed brown bananas and couldn’t find any. So I politely asked one of the male staff if they had any brown bananas out the back. The gentleman I spoke with was kind and gave me brown banana’s for free. Was so grateful that I made cake for the staff and delivered it the next day.

I like to bake banana cakes and cupcakes from scratch for family and close friends when special occasions arise.

Any fruit or veges you buy from just outside the shop, need to be consumed fairly quickly. It's often very ripe and hasn't got much shelf life left. There is a lot of choice of fruit and veg. Sometimes, it's pricey. Nonetheless it's definitely worth making this store your regular fruit and vegetable store.

Last year we looked after our son's house and his two beautiful dogs which we enjoyed very much.
We discovered Calamvale Discount Fruit Barn and what a delight it was.
My husband and I would love the owners to please consider having another shop here in Redcliffe or Margate.
We no longer have a fruit or vegetable outlet here only Supermarket prepacked or lose - not such wonderful quality products as this outlet here.
I was just preparing vegetables for lunch and thinking how much better we were able to purchase at Calamvale Discount Barn plus they had one day a special price for pensioners.
So please Calamvale Discount Fruit Barn get an outlet here on the Redcliffe Peninsula you would have plenty of customers literally starving for a quality vegetable and fruit outlet such as yourselves.

It is a discount fruit barn. But be careful to check what it is discounted from. It is otherwise an excellent place.
