Woolworths Calamvale

This is in good location, vegetable nearby, BWS, food court, many things useful shops around. Phone signal reception is very bad, free wifi is zero. The rest everything very good.

On the evening of Wednesday, 4th October, I was passing through Calamvale and popped into get a few groceries on my way home. I much prefer to use the manned cashier registers and I was pleasantly surprised to find there were a couple of registers open. The young girl who served me asked how my day had been and I answered "better than yesterday, thank you!" She said oh dear, what happened yesterday? And after a bit of to'ing and throwing and reluctancy to share, I whispered my life-changing news that I recieved the previous day. Her kind words were then followed by her conversing with her colleague who then rushed to grab a bunch of flowers for her to give to me!
I'm sorry it made me cry, but I was overwhelmed with the kindness and empathy recieved from such a young girl who made a massive impact to my day more than she will ever realise. Thank you for being a beautiful soul, I wish I had been thinking more straight to have got your name. Woolies is very lucky to have you.

I was served by such a nice young guy, he had no idea I'd been having a terrible day but he was so kind and helpful it really made my day.

Woolies you’ve got an awesome team member- Haylee!! Been looking EVERYWHERE for Kodak film as there is a shortage in the state. Even though your store didn’t have any she helped me find what stores did. I got in touch with them and will be getting it tomorrow. She is wonderful and definitely deserves the praise!

A big thank you to Kylie in the bakery section for a wonderful cake for my parents anniversary. I booked a little late but she managed to fit me in and presented us with a beautiful sponge cake with all the trimmings. It tasted delicious! Always super busy in the last few hours of trade on a Sunday. I think that they would have learnt by now that would be one of the busiest times they have, with people lining up down the aisles. They need to put more staff on check outs for the last hour or 2 to be able to manage this better, and another few people dealing with the line up the occurs every Sunday afternoon

Has everything I want. Had to get some dates today for Mums art cooking. Had a good giggle when I was at dates section with 4 old ppl. Must do what they say it does ....

Hot wheels selection was poor, but that seems to be a supply issue as it's all the Woolies that I goto.

Well honestly from my last visit there and experience i would recommend it definitely to everyone that is trying to find a calm self perpetuating place to do both shopping and have fun at the same time especially that they have a nice and mindful staff that tends to all the customers needs on a daily basis. Good. Rock on! Go ahead and try it!!

For quite a long time I've been trying to buy "Tip Top The One" with omega 3, without any luck, (I hadn't seen it since the coronavirus started) so I phoned Tip Top's head office and they told me they still make and to try and order it from my local supermarket, which I did (being Woolworths on Beaudesert Rd) I went there and asked a very helpful lady (her name is Kylie) if she could order it in for me and she said she would try and she would call me when it came in. A few weeks went buy and she would keep calling me to tell me that she is having trouble getting it in, but she would keep on trying, she phoned me yesterday (Thursday) to let me know that it has finely come in and she'll order it for me every week, which I appreciate very much.

Did my first online order and pick up at the store. Excellent experience. Wish other stores would follow a similar system to better their click and collect experience.

Compared to my local Woolworths at Acacia Ridge, is like comparing chalk and cheese. And if it were not for the convenience of the closer store, I would have changed years ago.

But my last trip there was the straw that broke the camels back for me when close to half of my usual fare wasn't in stock and so from now on, the extra five to seven minutes drive out to Calamvale will be worth it.

Manager helped me to carry my grocery to the counter.. very nice gesture. 👌

Convenient and less hassle, the underground parking is a hassle with upper level access. Good thing there's KFC and good mix of food restaurants around

By far my favorite place to be. M Eand my children are less home and wen i come to by groceriys SAMUEL SYMONDS give us freee food

Edit: It is won year later and i now have home and SAMUEL SYMONDS was my biggest insperation he payed haf of the house cost.

I have 4 Woolies in my area but this one is my favourite. Not too hectic, produce is fresh. I go for the reduced items late in the day- many bargains to be found.
