Ma Belle’s Cafe

A charming little cafe. Food choices are limited but what they have is very good. We loved our New York sandwich and a veggie breakfast roll with added bacon. Both were delicious. I had an iced coffee to finish and it was a cracker, maybe the best I’ve ever had. Strong, creamy and frankly utterly delicious. Service was great here too. This is clearly a well run and much loved local business. It deserves to keep thriving

Enticed here by the excellent reviews and that there are gluten free options, we thought we would stop by on our last visit to Ballarat. We were not disappointed in the least, in fact we will most likely make this quaint cafe a regular gig when we are drawn to the big city :) Seriously, the coffee was really great (my wife says one of the best, if not the best coffee, we have enjoyed in the region) and the cakes were also fab. We’ll be back repeatedly, if that I’m sure.

It's always a pleasure visiting Ma Belle's. The consistency, quality, and service are excellent. It's very comfortable inside and sheltered outside. Another stand-out business run by an exceptional woman.

I thoroughly enjoyed a toasted ham, cheese & tomato sandwich.

A nice little cafe with lots of interesting Australiana and Ballarat themed knick knacks. The coffee and the breaky roll were very nice. We had limited time but will try visit again.

Amazing place to have brunch an a good cup of coffee (or two). Home decor is unique and stylish, I loved the fact you can find products such as cushions and canvas frames with Ballarat landmark. Well done guys!

Korma Pie was second to none followed by great coffee and delicious Vanilla Cake. A great find on our visit to Ballarat!

This isn't just another cafe. It's clear that Ma Belle's really cares about serving the highest quality coffee. I ordered a black and a milk coffee, both were served with a warm welcome. The base shot is a full of body with flavours of mild nut and chocolate, not a hint of bitterness but just enough acidity to know it's an authentic coffee. This little cafe may be a hidden gem, perhaps one of the best in Victoria...

That was such a divine stop off for our road trip. Homely, clean, and a classic 1800s shoppe vibe. My New York sandwich was so delicious, and the coffee was way better than the ones I make 😂 Thanks Ma Belle's!
