As a family we dreaded putting Dad into permanent aged care. But it got to the point that there was no other option, he just couldn't be looked after at home any longer. We could not have chosen a better home for Dad in his last weeks.
The staff were amazing, always making Dad feel respected and worthy, and to the family also amazing always making us feel welcome.
When the end came and the time for palliative care arrived, still the staff were amazing, always treating Dad and the family with the upmost of care.
When Dad's death came the staff still treated Dad with total respect and compassion. And to the family the same.
We could not have selected a better home for Dad in his final weeks. If we ever need aged care again, we will not think twice about selecting Royal Freemasons Ballarat.

A good place to be, for both staff and residents. Staff are caring, professional and inclusive. The administrator at the front reception is very nice. The facility is clean and well organised inside. Had a wonderful two years working experience in there.
