We ordered the Lamb Platter, Steak Sandwich and BBQ Beef Burger. All were first class. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice and clean. We highly recommend "George's". Thanks, it was worth the drive from WA😉

Fresh fish and chips. Cooked well and served in reasonable time. We also got salad and recommend to try it too as it was delicious 😋 battered fish option is nicer but grilled fish was also cooked well.

I got myself the Fisherman’s basket for 2 for around $52. It came in a massive plate with extremely huge portions. They had fish, scallop, prawn, calamari and crab, with a whole bunch of chips and salad.

The batter for the fried food is really crispy and delicious. The fish was massive and really good. The scallops were good as well, really meaty and even has a hint of sweetness. The prawns for me are one of the best seafood here. It’s really big and juicy, and tastes really good.

For the sides, I actually really enjoyed the salad too. It was refreshing, and tasted amazing. It’s a real good contrast to the seafood and it’s like taking a break from the heaviness of the fried food.

If you do come here I highly recommend this place!

My fish was huge and I also got a BIP portion of Chips that we call French Fries.

The service was very fast - you go to the counter order and pay = they give you a call button which beeps when your food is ready.

My Fish & Chips were AUD16 - an average soft drink is AUD 5

Had pizza here 4 years ago and remembered it fondly. Returned recently and I've had 2 different pizzas in 2 days. Neither disappointed. Extremely good pizza and partner had fish and chips and was impressed. Staff are a little rude and the "restaurant" is more like a food court but you can't fault the food.

I ordered two delicious salads with roast chicken, there were many options on the menu, and the staff was very friendly, our guide recommended the place to us and it was just as he described it: delicious and varied!

Great place for a quick or full stop. We enjoy the options. Pizza parlor, fish and chip shop all in one. Pizza was delicious good and we were able to modify 1/4 of it to suit a diet issue. Staff was friendly and we had our pizza in 20 minutes. Chips were ready in 10.

Lots of seating but still full when in the busy season.

I recommend the pizza and chips.

Television on the wall. Was very noisy like previous reviews mentioned but didn’t bother us. 4-5 tables outside for those who don’t want the noise.

If you want to eat the best beef burger,just try to the Big G. Amazing

A great first experience at George's Restaurant today. We ordered the salad sandwich on brown and club sandwich. They went out of their way, above and beyond to ensure we got the brown bread. Friendly staff, great food, delicious chips and served quickly. Thanks guys.

An very good restaurant with a variety of food choices when you are on a Grand Ocean Road. Reasonable prices and large portions. We had fish & chips, 1/4 chicken and chips and kids menu was chicken nuggets and chips. Everything was very tasty and quickly prepared, they even had live music - interesting. Perhaps the only small drawback is that the toilet is small for so many people who fit in that restaurant. It's very busy there, but on a day trip, places like this come in handy.

This place was loverly busy and popping bad it should be. I got the lamb souvlaki for $17 and I was a bit skeptical at the price but once we received it the portion size was very pleasing and was very filling. On top of that it was delicious and was definitely amazing money for value. 🤤

Beautiful meal. Had fish chips & salad. Cappuccino to follow. Will visit again next time we are there. Other meals they were bringing out look yum too. Busy bit fast service.

Love the service and staff. Very friendly and patient. We were the last customer in their restaurant, but they didn't rush or hurry us. In fact, the lady asked, "Do you like the food?" That is such an incredible way of serving people. Thanks for showing that love and value towards your customers. The food was a really beautiful taste❤. Highly recommend this place.

We had calamari and scallops with chips and salad @$24 each. The salads were fresh and delicious. Chips were yummy but just a few too many. The seafood was so fresh and lightly battered and crumbed, not oily at all. A very generous serve. Highly recommend.

Great place offering a wide range of dishes, eat in or takeaway options. Very busy all the time, with tables both inside and out options. Staff are friendly offering quite service both in ordering and delivery of food, which is also very good

We have only ever had pizzas from George’s, and every time they’ve hit the spot. Generally always busy and a bit of a wait, but no big deal, it’s a big restaurant that serves heaps of people. Great location.

Great place for a great feed, get a lamb Souvlaki with extra meat and extra zaziki sauce, don't forged the chips, the guys work hard to produce the best food, will come back, Thank you 😋

Ate here two nights in a row. Fresh and delicious food, incredibly nice staff and massive portions vs price point. I tried to tip them the second night but they refused so thought I’d write em’ a review instead.

My son and I ordered the GSP - Greek and Kids Nuggets and Chips. Both were exceptional and my kids about as fussy an eater as you can get. He personally rated them 5 stars too haha. The GSP was incredible - worth driving a few hours from Melbourne to have again in a few months time I reckon. The second night we split a capricciosa pizza sans mushies and it was just as good. Nice thin base, heaps of fresh ingredients on top and a lot better value than our hometown in Carlton.

The restaurant itself is very large with loads of seating, has a variety of food stations and pagers to collect your food once it’s ordered. This equates to a quick dining experience where you can order from a broad selection of foods and actually sit down to enjoy it.

If you’re in Apollo Bay, do yourself a favour and check this one out. If you’re not, it’s worth a daytrip or weekender especially if you have a family or fussy eaters. Top spot. Highly recommended.

A good place to have delicious food. They have an impeccable method to maintain the orders, by using an electronic token system. It's a tidy place as well.
I and my friends had ordered a lamb platter, roast chicken with chips and Greek salad and a meat lovers pizza. Everything was great. Especially, the olives and fetta in Greek salad.
I will visit this place again if ever go on a great ocean road trip.
