Sandpiper Motel Apollo Bay- Great Ocean Road

Great value motel room. Very clean and modern. Complimentary shower gels and soaps provided. Big king bed was very comfy. Everything we were looking for on our short stay. Well located as well. Short drive to the main shopping strip and it was nice and quiet. You could also hear the waves crashing softly at night.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. A light and airy room with a balcony with an ocean view. Room was spotlessly clean and well stocked. The four stars for service is only because it was self check in, so no-one to ask for restaurant recommendations or whatever.

Great place. Security carpark area. Room was very clean & Nice. Walking distance to everything. Beach directly across the road. Michelle who managed the Motel was friendly, helpful & knew her stuff. Definitely recommend to others plus will return when we are back in town. Thank you for a lovely experience.

There have been a few reviews noting dirty rooms unrenovated rooms. I can only speak from my experience. I had room 15 it was spotless. Had a fridge stocked with milk, plenty of tea, brief everything you need for an overnight stay. I found the check-in very easy and it’s great not to have to handover your details to someone after having inputted it into website. Looks to be very efficiently run and I have no complaints. I had a great view from my room would not hesitate to stay again.

We arrive a bit late so reception was close.
We were a bit lost but, if you read the email that they send you before your arrival, everything is fine!

Rooms are big and quiet.
Confortable beds and everything clean
Big bathroom and things to take a coffe or tea in the morning.

I recomend it pretty much!!!

Close to town. Easy person-less check-in 24/7. Comfortable rooms and ample parking. Guest laundry if you need it.

We stopped over here while we were doing the Great ocean road. My friend put down that it was my birthday so they very kindly upgraded us to an ocean view room which was amazing! Lovely room, very comfy bed and had the loveliest bathroom! Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely accommodation by the beach (literally walk across the road and the beach is there)
The room is clean with all of the amenities you need. Bathroom is clean, modern and fairly sized.
Easy check in and check out. Staff is ready to help.
We stayed in the room with terrace. The only thing would make it better is some privacy screen or hedge to provide more privacy from the street.
All in all, a great experience and would stay there again

This is my second stay here, and I still love it. It's clean, tidy, and conveniently located near restaurants, IGA, cafes, and park. The location is both convenient and peaceful.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay durning a Great Ocean Road Drive. Modern rooms and super clean with very comfortable beds.
The shower pressure was fantastic and hot water. The best shower. Highly recommended :-)

We had the perfect stay. The location was with in easy flat walking distance to everything. The room was perfect, extremely well cleaned, fantastic shower and bathroom and even a courtesy laundry that I took the opportunity to use.
When checking in the lady on the desk was great. Friendly and very informative about the area with recommendations. Also providing maps and a list of business to eat and shop. I highly recommend Sandpiper Motel and look forward to staying again soon.

Good place to stay. You can walk to places for food as it's not too far away from the venues. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean (it looks just like the photos on their website). We arrived after hours and had no trouble collecting the keys that were left for us. Would stay here again!

An awesome motel located in a great spot not far from everything in Apollo Bay, walking distance if it’s not raining. Our room wash tidy and clean plus also felt a little luxurious and a huge bed looking at the ocean. Receptionist was helpful and gave us ideas to do the next day. Overall great place and would definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay there a few months back. The rate was just under $100 and it was much nicer than the next hotel I stayed at, which was almost double the price. Clean, tidy, friendly staff. Great size if you are traveling alone, but would be on the smaller side for a couple.

This was a last minute stay. The owner was very accommodating. We got a great room with a very comfy bed for a very reasonable price. The room was spotless. Shops within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in town.

Its most unfortunate that we cannot spend more time is this accommodation. For its price, its a five stars! Its comfortable and like any hotel. Highly recommended

We were 3 families of 9 people. The check-in process was smooth and all the rooms were clean and comfortable. This place is close to beach, gas station and shops. The complimentary breakfast at the cafe was good and filling.

The Sandpiper Motel Apollo Bay was a wonderful place for our weekend getaway. We especially loved the extremely comfortable beds and found the rooms very polished and luxurious. Can't recommend this place enough for anyone coming down to the area!

Lovely and clean accommodation, perfect for a one night stay or more. Excellent communication and quiet location. Would definitely stay here again!
