Apollo Bay Hotel

Yesterday we held our wedding reception at the Apollo Bay Hotel and we could not of been happier. What a venue!! What food!! What service!! All we can say is WOW!!!!
From the minute we decided that Apollo Bay Hotel would be our venue nothing was too much trouble. Communication with the staff was prompt and whatever request we made they ensured it was not an issue. Access to the room to set up was amazing and made the day stress free.
Food......oh my goodness our guests were still talking about it this morning ....so much and so beautifully cooked and presented. Not a single person was disappointed or left hungry.
Staff on the night were simply amazing lead by Sean who is the Master at running a function. It went like clock work and the service was simply spectacular. If you need someone to run your function Sean is your man!!
We have been here for a few days and all the staff we have had contact with have been beyond wonderful!
Thank you to to whole team. We thoroughly recommend Apollo Bay Hotel for any function you may have or just a casual dining experience. The new beer garden rocks!!

We came down for almost 2 weeks and were in and out quite a few times.
Each time we were greeted by gracious staff through and through, but we managed to have 2 stunning visits with a real genuine great waitress Carla. Beyond great service, funny, just an all around good time for me and the family. We wish we could stay forever but sadly real life calls is home.

Had tea here tonight. Salt and pepper squid melted in your mouth. Steak was cooked perfectly as was side of vegetables. Staff were very friendly and service was quick.

Located on the main drag so easily accessible. Not the most modern but clean and inviting. Nice outdoor area and big gas fire inside. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was great - decent serves, hot and lots of flavour. Calamari was thick, juicy and perfectly battered. Seafood linguine was very tasty. Was fairly quiet when we ordered and meal timing was spot on. Recommended as a pub to stop at!

A great local pub. Good combo of pub classics (the Parma was amazing). They have a great selection of beers on tap and an amazing rear beer garden. The staff were top notch particularly the manager Jack, we came in with two dogs and he promptly brought us over a water bowl and just all round great service.

Fantastic meal options, all ordered and paid through the table -side QR code. Meals looked so good that we had to sample some entrees as well but were to full to finish our monster schnitzels. Luckily Beverly provided us with some take home boxes so we can enjoy the meals again for lunch! Great service from Beverly and her colleagues regarding allergies in our group. Apollo Bay Hotel has provided an exceptional experience with its impeccable service, inviting ambiance, and a menu that is diversed and has delighted my taste buds. The dishes we tried were expertly crafted, showcasing high-quality ingredients. Apart from that, our accommodation was superb! Highly recommended!

I had my best holidays ever in Apolo Bay, the food was incredible, good vibe and specially an amazing attention.
The restaurant is really good located, and one the personal, Bryan, provided the best service ever. I felt like in home.

We’ve been to Apollo Bay Hotel for lunch yesterday with group of 10 people. What an ambience ! Great location ! moreover superb service with smiley faces around us. Chef Sarath's menu left a lasting impression with its bold flavours and thoughtful presentation. His attention to detail was evident in every bite. A culinary experience that exceeded expectations, showcasing the chef's talent and dedication to the craft. Highly Recommend.

This pub is a gem. The atmosphere is so chill, and the food absolutely delicious. Carla recommended us the pizza and chicken Parmigiana and they were oh god! Juan and the stuff are the friendliest bunch. They know how to make you feel right at home and keep those good vibes flowing. We're totally hooked and coming back for more!

Food was very great! Staff is very accommodating as well, it is my first time staying and eating away from the city and they gave me one of the best vacay i had for long, hoping i can stay more longer in this lovely place! Special thanks to the chefs for preparing those goodness meals! 🫡

Amazing service awesome awesome atmosphere beautiful weather. I asked one of the lovely staff members to kindly put the TV on the cricket and he kindly did it. We had the chicken parma and the fish and chips and it was such a lovely meal. Deft coming back! Not to mention that Juan the barman pours the best beers in town and Bryan who was the manager on Duty made my family and I feel at home. If I could, I would give this place 1000 5 stars review. Keep it up!!

We went to the Apollo Bay Hotel for happy hour. Carla, Matty, Hannah and Juan made our visit fun and enjoyable. Staff like this must be hard to find. Ended up staying longer than planned and told everyone at the caravan park how good our experience was. Thank you.

I recently dined at Apollo Bay and had a delightful experience. The chicken schnitzel was delicious, with generous and tasty portions. The staff, especially Juan and Carla, made us feel very welcome. Their warm and attentive service added an extra layer of hospitality, making it a great place for a satisfying and enjoyable meal!

Leaving a review for the pub grub. Pasta was good, a little too soft but the fresh seafood used made up for it. Lots of parmesan crunbs as a topping so it was really nice. The fish n chips were good too. A little pricey ($33 for pasta) but u pay for a comfy second floor view overlooking the street, a quiet spot and one of the few places still open in the early evening.

Carla and Celeste are awesome! They were very gentle with us. I had such a great time in the pub thanks to them! :) I would definitely come back again!

I had the most amazing time. The staff were so friendly. Specially Carla, she recommended us the fish and chips. Juan was super nice and kind with me and my friends. For sure I will be back :) Thank you guys!

We attended the seafood degustation held in lieu of the seafood festival and it did not disappoint. The menu was edgy and exciting, the food was executed with perfection and the service was meticulous. It was so nice to have the chef and sommelier stand up and talk us through the menu and wine matches. Can’t wait to see what they do next year.
