Balhannah Dog Park

Huge! The only decent dog park in the Adelaide Hills between Gumeracha and Verdun. We drive 20 min just to come here. 650m loop approximately with more than enough for the dogs to explore something new each visit.

Absolutely stunning area, great size with lovely people and friendly dogs. A favourite of ours 🙂

Love it here and so does River. Huge open off lead space with lots of little areas for the dogs to swim, run and explore. Friendly dogs and people, bag dispensers and bin at the entrance. Can be a little muddy after the rain but there's good path that wraps the whole way round so can be easily avoided.

Lovely big open park with lots of dogs off the leash. Has the Onkaparinga river that runs around the park, it’s a bonus when the water is flowing my golden retrievers get a swim in too!
Bring your own water for your dogs as there is no fresh water stations.
Poo bags are supplied at the gate entrance.

Great for dogs who love running and swimming. Plenty of space, plenty of bags and a solid walking path looping through. There's only one bin right at the entry of the raceway to the entrance, so be prepared to carry your bags - but a small price to pay for a wonderful space.

Best dog park ever! Huge, oak trees, acorns, heaps of friendly dogs, a picturesque creek for dog swims! Barry boy gives it 5 stars!

Again Kobi had a great time meeting dogs. A few even agreed to play chase with him.

Update: There is now a DIY dog wash via the back of one of the stores along the park edge! Genius, because the dogs often end up muddy!

Fantastic, safe and beautiful park to exercise and socialise your dogs. Full of stunning, huge oak trees and bounded by the Onkaparinga River if they feel like a swim ❤❤

Wonderful spacious dog park, with beautiful old oaks, well defined & flat walkways, winter creek near to shops, petrol station, & pub.
Could do with some seating & a water supply for drinking.

Beautiful, spacious off lead dog park. I loved that the whole park was one big loop & the creek beside it was very nice. It was a very relaxing, lovely dog park.

There were dog bowls & poop bags there, but the bin wasnt inside the dog park itself so some people were throwing their poop bags on the ground near the entrance.

Great dog park with lots of room to walk / run. Is bordered by a fresh water creek which is accessible from the park.

Lovely park for doggies to run wild, and paths for owners to walk, as well as a stream/pond for the doggies to take a dip. We have loved this place since our first time there. Please pick up after your dog and keep it clean for everyone; there's a bin at the entrance, so make sure you carry the bags out. thanks.

Great for dogs to run around has water holes

One of the best dog parks I've been to. Dogs can walk around the designated path or follow the creek even have a swim.

Nice large open area where the dogs can run. A single circuitous walking path allows a good walk. Our two kelpies love it. Poop bags at the entrance. No seating or shelter, so it's pretty much walk and go. There's no water there either, excepting the creek that flows nearby.

Best dog park I have ever been to! Wide open space for dogs to run. Fantastic place for pooches.
