Shaw + Smith is a step up in the wine tasting experience. I would like to leave my very special thanks to Will from the Cellar Door which beautifully welcomed us, managed to get us a tasting time when the times where sold out when I explained Shaw + Smith is my wife's australian favourite wine and during the tasting immersed ourselves through the notes and aroma of high quality wines. Will also provided suggestions of places to visit which we followed and it was everything we needed while in Adelaide for the weekend. Great wines, beautiful space and friendly staff. That's how I would describe Shaw + Smith.

We had an exceptional wine tasting experience at Shaw + Smith, thanks to Tristan. His knowledge and welcoming demeanor added a delightful touch to our visit, creating a connection that made the experience truly memorable. The tasting room is stunning, and the single vineyard Chardonnay is now my new favorite. Definitely the highlight of our 3-day winery tour! Looking forward to coming back again, hopefully soon.

A must do! We had an amazing tasting with the fabulous Morgan who showcased and explained the Shaw and Smith range. The venue is gorgeous, wines amazing and service exceptional. The cheese plate with the tasting was delicious. Thank you to Morgan who made our tasting a wonderful start to our day in the vines!

Still the benchmark of Sauvignon Blanc in the world. We wanted to try the rest of their range and it was a great experience. We enjoyed their sister MMAD 2023 rose so much we took a pair home.

The first stop on our wine tour and the cellar door (particularly Sam) started us off with a bang - a fantastic introduction to the area, alongside beautifully descriptive terms for delicious tasting wine

All good wine deserves good food, which this place delivers too; introducing specifically designed meals to bring the best flavours of wine and meat together

Absolute quality, everyone should give this place a go (and buy a dozen Sauvignon Blancs haha)

World class winery and wine. Shaw & Smith has its bread and butter wines which are great but they have exceptional wines in the Pino and Chardonnay category. Price points of $60-100 for a bottle will get you an outstanding bottle of wine 🍷 that is massively underrated.

The location is incredible, staff the best and the overall vibe of S+S is very relaxing.

This is a Adelaide Hills Bluechip location to come to and relax with a bottle and wind down.

Everything about this venue is top class. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you love Sauvignon Blanc, you can not go by what they offer. All of the platters we ordered were fresh and tasty. I am looking forward to returning to try some more and take in the beautiful scenery again.

A great location for tasting quality wines. The spacious tasting room is all seated, with wonderful wine flights ($25, $35,$45pp), accompanied by a magnificent cheese platter, while looking out through panoramic windows to a postcard valley with lake and rolling hills.
Great place to spend an hour or so.
Ps. We tried 2 different wine fights, shared ,so we got to taste 7 different wines.
Overall: Absolutely delightful.

I have been a few times and most recently came over Easter. Shaw and Smith is one of my favourite cellar doors. The tasting room is minimalist yet chic and they have the best wines. Their M3 Chardonnay is my favourite Chardonnay and all the other wines are great too (Sav Blanc and Pinot). Annie served us and she was lovely and heaps of fun and made our experience that much better. Will keep coming back! 😍🥂🍷

Shaw and Smith Sauvignon Blanc from Adelaide Hills is a local favorite. It's crisp, vibrant, and has a refreshing citrus taste—perfect for easy enjoyment.

What a wonderful experience. The staff were so attentive, the larder menu was devine and the wine was even better. The views from the tasting room are world class. 5 stars

We had a great tasting visit yesterday with Lisa as our hostess. She was very knowledgeable about the wines we tried and recommended the buratta to have with the wines. We enjoyed everything we tried. A lovely visit. Thank you Lisa!

Great winery offering sophisticated cool climate wines from Adelaide Hills. The staff are knowledgeable and very passionate about sharing the history of the place and details of their wines. Be sure to order some of the tasty plates from their larder, which come with fresh sourdough bread to enrich your wine tasting experience.

Tristan at the Shaw and Smith Adelaide winery provided an amazing experience. His service was exceptional and his knowledge that he shared on wines was extremely interesting. Highly recommend visiting this winery, it is beautiful.

Our host was very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer our questions. The wines were very nice, and the way they set up means you can take your time and taste each wine without feeling rushed. The tasting room is a little bit bland but the view is lovely out the windows is lovely

Lazy Thursday afternoon wine tasting at Shaw + Smith. They’ve nailed the wine tasting experience with matching cheeses. Great explanation of not only the wines but the history of Shaw + Smith. Highly recommend visiting this stunning vineyard.
