Sidewood Estate Restaurant

Absolutely fantastic experience at Sidewood Estate restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

What a wonderful Saturday afternoon we spent eating some amazing food and enjoying a drink or two!
No matter how busy it got there the staff were extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And oh my the food!! You must go and try it for yourself!
We can't wait to go back!

The perfect spot for a Sunday lunch on a sunny day! Service is lovely and professional, the place is modern yet has a cosy feel to it and the garden, terrace, bowling space and lounges are amazing! We regretted not to have time to spend the entire afternoon there, highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING.

We did the chefs menu for 6 people. A stunning meal and all dietary requirements were catered for beautifully. Nobody missed out. Gluten free pita bread was for best us unlucky celiacs have ever had!

The hummus and dolmades dish was a real highlight, as was the wagyu beef.

Also, the entire table ended up being complete converts to oysters! Never thought I would see the day.

Though the place was exceptionally busy the service was exceptional. Staff were fast and efficient without being overbearing.

Afterwards we were invited to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather with some more wonderful Sidewood wines. Couldn’t recommend higher. We will be back!

Great find, very spacious dining area with lots of sunlight. Can get quite stuffy indoors when the sun is out. Nice outdoor area for the families and picnic. Swings for children. An adult area to lawn ball with canopies to chill on the side. The vibe for a gathering is excellent. Had the pizza buffet and it was not bad. Fave was the pork and potato pizza. Mushrooms were great too. Bottomless pizzas with no time limit was very worth it. You can spend the whole day there whilst playing games in between. Yummy mocha. Friendly service.

Great lunch with perfect weather. Food was amazing - very accommodating with vegan options. The mushroom masterstock dish was phenomenal. Bravo to the chef. Wines were delicious too.
Only suggestion - try using a cashew cream in the stuffed zucchinis instead of ricotta. Would work for vego & vegan.

The wait staff were polite and attentive throughout the meal. The food was well presented. Atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. I would recommend Sidewood to anyone looking for a good service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Lovely food, very flavoursome and beautifully presented. Great portion sizes. We had chef's choice tasting menu. While not all combinations of ingredients worked perfectly well in my opinion, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I lunched here on a Saturday. Perfect food which was generous and tenderly made. Exceptional service from all staff but especially our waiter, Nik.
We had an entree each (mine were oysters) and shared the enormous wagyu. We both squeezed in some divine desserts.
This is a lively bubbly place absolutely packed out so you have to book. Don't expect to have a quiet time.
Definitely worth it

We have just done a wine tasting and the lovely lady that tended to us was absolutely beautiful. I’m just sorry I didn’t get her name. She was attentive and informative and went above and beyond to meet our needs - even finding a straw for our son’s juice paddle. A beautiful venue with an amazing atmosphere

The service from Leanne was super friendly, welcoming and very warm, what a lovely start to a beautiful meal, I struggle to eat food at the best of times, so sampled my sisters food and tested the Brussel sprouts and they were very yummy, my sister enjoyed her meals, cider paddle and wine :)

Our family group of 8 had lunch in the restaurant last Saturday. We were booked for the balcony, but as it was a 40-degree scorcher of a day, they phoned me in advance to offer a table inside which was a perfect temperature. Some of us have dietary requirements so they provided a separate vegetarian menu and were also helpful with vegan meal selection. The decor and light in the room were stunning, as was the food! Leanne was quietly attentive, very kind and looked after us extremely well. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely experience at Sidewood.

Food was absolutely incredible, - beautifully presented dishes. We tried the tasting menu and I could not fault any of the dishes, and could not pick between them for a favourite. Chef Jamie Carter has a gift, such unique and fresh flavours, paired together perfectly! We finished with dessert - the dark chocolate and orange lava cake is outstanding. Such a great atmosphere, will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely evening!

Absolutely love it here! We’ve been a few times now. They never disappoint! Awesome food, service and atmosphere! My favourite place to spend a Sunday afternoon! I highly recommend!

This experience has been absolutely amazing. Professionalism was the biggest thing about this trip to Sidewood. Wayne was our server and he had a great personality, being sure to know all of our dietary requirements and know we were all satisfied. The servers were lovely bringing out our food, warm, perfectly cooked and plated. Dessert was amazing, you must try the desserts, aswell as many of the dishes. The wine was beautiful and we brought 1 bottle. Absolutely incredible experience will definitely come again.

Love the decor & unique art pieces on the wall & shelves. Cozy & warm dining place. We were at the verandah and all tables were occupied on this busy Friday afternoon.

Food were amazing as well as the service. Will be back for Sunday Brunch soon.
