Strahan Village

The view over the bay was amazing!

Everything was taken care of by the amazing staff, even staying back for a late check-in for us.

At check-in we got easy instructions on where to park (there was plenty available).

The room was really modern and part of fantastic facilities, everything was clean, the only regret we have is not staying a few more days.

Another standout was the enormous pillows, best nights sleep I've had in a long time, cant wait to go back and visit again.

We had a second storey split level room. It was just amazing with the most amazing view from the balcony
The bathroom was stocked with the most amazing products by “Nood” just heavenly
Well appointed clean room, tiny little bar fridge but there were lots of places to eat.
If I had to say a negative it would be that you aren’t guaranteed to find a park close to your room
Particularly loved the electric fireplace, gave the place a real cosy feel

Cute little cottage with views of the harbour. Short walkable distance to the river cruises, restaurants and cafes. Very clean, beds were comfy. Reception was very friendly too.

The nice girl that check us in was brilliant. Super friendly and kind.

Very clean and very comfortable rooms with great balcony views of the water/port. Fantastic value for money as well. Service is outstanding - if you’re not sure what to do in the area the staff at reception will point you in all the right directions. Very welcoming. Great restaurants also part of Strahan Village along the main road. Everything is within walking distance and very convenient to get to. Would give it more than 5/5 if I could - highly recommend.

Booked in for a two night stay. Service was great reception staff were friendly and we received an upgrade to the newly renovated Hilltop rooms. The rooms are just awesome Huge king bed. Beautiful fireplace feature

Cute little cottages along the waters edge. A restaurant within 10m of our room was open for dinner but you had to have a booking - the accommodations restaurant was not open when we stayed (winter) but we managed to get a seat at the bar, The food was amazing.

Rooms were clean and comfortable - in need of some updating, but spacious. Best hotel shower pressure we've seen.

A lovely town that I'm sure is very busy in the summer months. A great short stay for us.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Our room was just a few minutes walk to the Gordon Rover Cruise terminal (do note that the walk is down a hill). The room itself is spacious and comfortable. We were given 2 cookies on arrival - a nice touch. Reminiscent of our stays at Hilton Double Tree hotels.

Right in the middle of town, you can park the car and walk to cruises or pubs and cafe shops. So comfortable and clean.

Such a beautiful property, clean, spacious and an amazing view over the water. Would definitely stay here again.

Room and facilities great. Seafood buffet really disappointing. Not even any fish available. The oysters were old and sad

I went to Strahan this weekend (21 april 2023) with my husband. All staff and and other business owners were very friendly and accommodating.
I have a disability and use an electric wheelchair. The room that we had was absolutely fantastic for accessibility and room. The views from our balcony were stunning. Straight over the harbour. The main living area was very spacious, it had plenty of room to move around in my wheelchair and the bathroom was great, again plenty of room to move around, with open plan wheel in shower with handrails. There was also very good drainage so water doesn't go everywhere. Toilet was in the same room as well with lots of room and hand rails.

I would definitely stay there again. Big thumbs up Strahan Village 🙂

What a beautiful place to stay! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept it and the room was comfortable and clean. The view of the waterfront was perfect and the location was great as it was only a walk over the road and you were at both the pub and Gordon River Cruise terminal. Highly recommend staying here if you’re wanting to get away to the west coast! ❤

The only thing we could fault was that the room above us had quite a loud shower which woke my partner up at 5:30 each morning.. 😖 but other than that, perfect. 🙂

We received a free upgrade and the room was very clean and had a great view. The lady at reception was also very friendly. Only problem was some of the nozzles in the shower head were broken causing it to spray in unwanted directions.

We stayed in the waterfront cottages. They are very cute and relaxing. Basic room with a balcony, the furnishing are a bit outdated - but overall does the job. The wifi signal does not reach the cabin and given there's poor phone reception it would've come very much in handy. Overall great stay, would recommend the cottages 😊🌸

A fantastic place to stay if your doing a river cruise. Limited options for meals particularly if you don't want seafood. You need to book a table at the pub if you want to eat, they book out a day ahead

Stayed for 3 nights. Nice location with nice view. Handy to a couple of restaurants and the Gordon River Cruises. Would stay again.
