Great free camp spot in fine weather, bit exposed otherwise.
Got to love the ocean.

Trial Horbour is a heaven! This campaign ground is small means it’s not busy which is perfect. We were lucky to find a very beautiful coverd spot that had a bench. The facility is clean but there is also a public toilet at the beach which is perfectly clean. There are short walking track which goes up to the cliff and the fall.
If you decided to drive to the beach be mind full of buggies. They are driving carelessly.

Beautiful free campground. It’s windy but the place is great. No facilities

A remote part of Tasmania's west coast. On a windy day, the waves here can reach a hight of 20 metres, and on those days it truly is the wild west. Well worth the visit for the natural beauty and the history

Awesome views right at the end of the camp ground looking back over the township. Was very windy today and waves were huge but made it more beautiful. One long drop toilet at campground which was clean and non smelly. There is another toilet in the township near the parking and beach access.

What a great place to camp. Right beside the ocean with crashing waves in full view. Short walk to Ocean Beach and river. Great picnic and sign posted natural history information.

This is a free campground with approx. 5-6 small-ish spots, near the little town of Trial Harbour (no shops, therefore not too many tourists!). We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves mid week, though I imagine it could fill up as several cars drove in the next day. Sites aren't all that flat, but definitely not complaining when it's free! There is one drop toilet that was clean when we went. The location really is stunning - the campground is right across the road from a beautiful beach and has a forested hill behind it. I imagine it could get pretty windy but luckily we had perfect weather. One of the best places I've stayed - would recommend if you can get a spot!

Brilliant spot if you want some time in isolation. Bring extra tent-pegs. The wind does not stop!

Beautiful small campground, probably 4-5 campsites, some with small trees and fire rings. Can get busy on summer weekends, so arrive early to secure a spot and then enjoy exploring the Trial Harbour area. Walk along the coast to experience the amazing geology and scenery! Fresh water may sometimes be available in the creek just past the campground. Drive slow through town to help keep dust under control.

Amazing place spectacular views. Had the campsite at the end near freshwater waterfall. Met the locals charming delightful people. The town has a really good vibe. Isolated but the are all off grid. They are an example to the rest of the country/world.

Wild and beautiful. The sunset into the sea was spectacular. The far end of campground has a fresh water stream with small waterfall that flows directly into the sea. Toilet is only facility.
