The Kitchen Strahan

Friendly staff. We had delicious pizza for dinner. Vegetarian, Hawaiian and garlic. Very crispy base and good amount of toppings. Would recommend for dinner and will try breakfast menu before we leave Strahan.

Super friendly staff and well priced meals for a somewhat captured market! Ate here for both dinner with sweet potato fries and margarita pizza and mushroom, tomato egg breakfast and delicious! Also has the best coffee out of everywhere in the area, huge range I've ice creams too 😍

We have been here everyday whilst staying in Strahan and every time it has been fantastic. Warm greeting when arriving and friendly, fast service for food.
We have tried the coffee numerous times, the bakery section and have ordered breakfast before the cruise. Each time could not be faulted.
Prices very reasonable considering the amazing location showcasing the river and heritage of the area.

I love pizza, I've eaten at probably over 500 places that have made pizzas in Melbourne Queensland and tassie, this pizza the carnivor that I ordered with bbq sauce base was in the top 2 pizzas I've ever had, it could probably be number 1. I need this recipe for when I go back to Melbourne so I can remake it and remember my time in tassie. (Also the wife had Hawaiian and it was delicious as well she enjoyed it)

Great pizza we had takeaway and really enjoyed it. But we returned to eat in the next day at lunch and the menu was very restricted and quite expensive.

I have nothing negative to say. Everything looked hella delicious. I got the savoury scone, as I'm a bit of a connisuer (sp?) of scones, and my god. Crunchy on the outside, soft and doughy on the inside. Flavourful. Perfection. Staff is super lovely too. Don't skip this place.

We visited this venue several times and thought that is was excellent in what it offers. The staff is also very professional and engages well with their patrons. Top marks!

Food is just the right temperature and so is the coffee. You don't have to wait for everything to cool down before you eat. Friendly and efficient staff.

Friendly staff, good and filling food. We had breakfast on Christmas Day and the kids got ginger bread men as gift. Made our day!

Was in Strahan on NYE. Got takeaway to eat across in the park. The fish and calamari were about the best I have ever eaten. Chips needed to be cooked a bit more. Was expensive but big portions. Pizzas were good as well. Highly recommended.

A MUST first call for coffee before your boat departs! Superb coffee & their pastries were brilliant also! Service was pretty fast considering they had a heap of coffee's on the go! Awesome hot coffee on a cold morning... PERFECT!

The best ever scallop pies. Can’t really compare to Banjos Bakery scallop pies with the lumpy gunk called curry sauce. The Kitchen scallop pies have perfect pastry and an amazing coconut curry and scallop filling where you bite into a scallop EVERY SINGLE BITE. I wish I could get some wholesale to put in my freezer at home
