Tracks on Point

Everything at this place is on point! The food was delicious, service was impeccable and atmosphere was divine! We loved it so much we went back for breaky the next day and it did not disappoint! Also, the best coffee I've had on our trip was from here!

Great little cafe with nice food at reasonable prices! Enjoyed our perfectly done eggs benny and bacon and egg roll. Coffee was quite good too!

Loved the location inside the former railway station. The gift shop is the old ticket counters. I think you can eat inside one of the old carriages as well (maybe for special events).
Food portions were excellent. We were so full up from the main that we didn't have room for dessert though I fancied the apple crumble or pancakes. The chips were nice and chunky with good chicken salt flavouring.
We were the only people there for dinner in late October so food came quickly.

Was here a few days back. Great cafe with lovely atmosphere and good food as you wait for the Wilderness Railway Train. As I was late with my order and had to board a lovely lady brought my coffee directly to my carriage. I needed my coffee badly bless her, what wonderful service.

Amazing big breakfast and coffee, very reasonable pricing.
Beautiful staff and cosy atmosphere with fireplace and water views.

The burgers and setting were great, the staff read nice, but it took us 1hr15 to get our meal.

Called in on the first day to this cafe at about 10am. I felt like scones, cream, jam and a mug of tea and thought I’d try my luck. The lady at the counter said that unfortunately, they did not have any scones…Just as she finished her sentence, another lady said ‘yep we do’ and pulled out a tray of scones fresh from the oven. The first lady said something about how she didn’t know where she found time to make scones as well. Talk about perfect timing. The scones were fresh and awesome and the tea went down a treat.

I returned for dinner the next night as I had a good vibe about this place. I ordered onion rings and a chicken caesar salad. The onion rings were a massive serve (better to be shared). Both were delicious. Great food and friendly staff. I feel this cafe is a hidden treasure in Strahan and if I’m ever back this way, the Tracks on Point Cafe will be first on my list to visit.

Great tasting food generous size we certainly left the restaurant very full and satisfied. Similar prices to other places in Strahan but very good quality food.

After a day hiking, and then several hours in the car getting to Strahan, a burger and a beer never tasted soooo good. 🍔🍻

Most reasonably priced menu in the whole of Strahan (imo). Tracks on Point serves snacks, salads and burgers ranging from $18 to $25 (which cater for all diets). The bonus...the two young male waiters along with the chefs allowed us to place an order a few minutes after closing time. All were super friendly, efficient and looked to really enjoy their employment (which can't quite be said for some staff across the other side of the harbour). Oh and there were no constantly slamming 'KITCHEN' doors.
I would easily recommend a reasonably priced breakfast, lunch or casual dinner here. The Tassie beers with burgers were tops too!

Great lunch we arrived a little late for lunch but the service was excellent and the food was all very good especially the chips. The tea was actual tea leaves in a pot rarely seen these days and coffee was also good.

We had dinner and breakfast here. They take last order around 8-8.30 pm and close at 9pm. The burgers and shakes are great! The next morning we had muffins and pancakes.

Very good place for a meal. Although the main menu is mainly burgers, they had other things on their specials list.

Delicious burgers, awesome Oreo supershake, Friendly service, reasonable priced food and a warm room when it was raining and blowing a gale outside. Couldn't fault the cafe on our holiday to tassy. Thanks! 👍

We went here for dinner and the food was so good we came back for breakfast the next day!!! Worth the tiny drive around the corner! Best burger and waffles I have EVER had!!!

Currently on holiday in Tasmania with friends. We went to, ‘Tracks on Point’ in Strahan for morning tea and then back for lunch today. Fabulous food, service and atmosphere with excellent service And prices. Would highly recommend this venue. Tavern next door ( Regatta Point Tavern) is brilliant too! Yvonne White and friends.

Generous portion size. Cold table water. Properly cooked, non-rushed, seasoned chips. Nearby clean public toilets. Nice location. Enough parking.

Best GF burger I've had in years. Chef was really accommodating with food intolerances & was training one of the guys at the same time

Good way to start the morning, great pancakes and get Bec to make you even better coffee 😍☕ best I've had on the west coast. Shakes were amazing too 👌

Great place, right on the platform and friendly staff ! Enjoyed the veggie Rinadeena burger along with crispy fries.
