Trial Harbour History Room

A surprise find in this tucked away private colony of holiday shacks which have gone through some rehabilitation recently. The garden was an interesting visit itself. Operated by elderly retiree couple from their residence. Entry by donation.
Public toilet near the beach next to the creek. Do drive at a crawl if visiting this "village" as kids roam the street like it is their backyard - because it is. Beware of the huge surf. They tower over you. We enjoyed them from a distance. Bring a hot flask with your favourite beverage because there are no cafes here but you'll want to linger and ponder its historical connections as there is something quite mesmerising about the pounding ocean surf.
