Corinda's Cottages

This was one of our two top stays in all of Tasmania. Mary Spode's room was glorious, with a comfortable bed, views out over the garden and city, and the best bathroom ever - such wonderful fittings. A really restorative place to spend quiet time in. Loved the location, the friendly staff, the honesty bar and the delicious breakfast. Not to mention the topiary wombats. :) Highly recommended.

I've stayed at a few classy places in Tasmania but this may be my favourite! Great position, staff and accommodation. The garden is exceptional! Will recommend esp to overseas friends that like historic places.

Amazing stay, last minute booking and the staff were very accommodating and friendly, great service, heritage building and rooms were old school with character.
If you want a quiet place not right in the centre this is perfide, walking distance to centre and all nice bars and restaurants. Just enough for a 2 day stay.

We celebrated my daughter Bridal Shower in the Corinda Gardens. Amazing gardens, very private and colourful.
Vivienne organised everything perfectly and communication was amazing from our first visit right through to the day.
Freshly cooked food was yumm, High Tea was extremely special, the best high tea and variety I have ever experienced
We had children attend, they were catered for very well also.

Last minute booking at 430pm and the room was prepared and ready in 10 mins, had a great stay, the breakfast was amazing. Make-it-yourself cocktails was so fun!

A perfect location. We had our wedding in the gardens of Corinda and cannot recommend the location and services enough. Perfectly presented food and drink. Every detail covered. Wonderful accommodation. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The breakfast was superb. Julian and Chaxi are the most thoughtful and considerate hosts. Ten out of ten. We will definitely be returning to stay there again in the future when we need a little getaway.

We stayed at the Servant's Quarters. Wonderful location with easy parking. We chose to park on the roadside. Not far from the airport if you have a late flight. Magical in the evening. Easy to check in with the lockbox key. So quiet you could hear a pin drop. Cosy with all the wall heaters, we didn't need to light the fireplace. Such a cosy stay, would have stayed longer as a base to explore the city. Easy to walk to and from when wandering the streets. Wonderful renovations while still being able to enjoy the house as it once was.

What a great discovery! Location was close to everything, the owners and staff were very helpful and polite. The room is clean and spacious. The garden was amazing; both visual and scent, I could have stayed there for a week. Julian and Chaxi were so helpful for suggestions. The local produce food in the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.

Where does one start?!? What an absolutely gorgeous house. This hotel was super inviting and well organized. It was like stepping into a different era, which made us feel very special in a way. The bed was divine, staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. And, the gardens... oh the gardens. I felt like I was in an episode of downton abbey 😍 thank you for such a fabulous experience. I will remember this place forever!

Great location, easy walk into the heart of the city. Beautiful old house and well appointed cottages. Very friendly hosts. Substantial Breakfast provided, all need taken care of. Highly recommended for a self care stay in Hobart

Magnificent house also with the most amazing garden. This place is a gem. So much history and just stuff to look at (it's like a museum looking back into the past) Very close to the city (walking distance) with beautiful views over the city and harbour.

One of my most beautiful experiences 2019. I really admire the quality of the hospitality of this unique place. I was welcomed, listened and rested during my "one week stay" in this warm family and their authentic lifestyle. I felt like home and also as if time has a little taste of eternity.

One of the best places I have stayed. Awesome heritage building that has a great modern touch while remaining classic. Comfortable and warm and the staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Reasonably close to everything. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about this bed and breakfast. Chaxi and her staff were amazing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is to die for. The view from the verandah room are breathe taking. The garden was manicured in a way that was captivating. This place was heaven on earth. Chaxi was knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Great venue for a small wedding ceremony. Clean and tidy inside and out. Very courteous and efficient staff. Food very well prepared and plated up. Overheard other guests speak favourably as well.

Fantastic place to stay. Only a 15 minute walk into town ($10 taxi ride). Chaxi is a great host. I highly recommend the breakfast. Amazing.

Corinda was an excellent place to stay , beautifully fitted out warm and welcoming, Julian the host was excellent and very professional and so nice , I highly recommend Corinda as a home away from home with luxury
