THAT PLACE Patisserie & Cafe is a delightful find! The almond croissant is a hit to us, having a generous amount of almonds distributed throughout the croissant, giving it a more flavorful and nutty taste compared to others. Pairing it with a cup of coffee for a relaxing Sunday afternoon sounds wonderful.

We will definitely explore other desserts during our next visit would definitely be a great idea! THAT PLACE is indeed a pastry shop worth trying around Geelong.

Wow, the breakfast brioche bun alone was already worth the visit. The pain au chocolat was delicious as well as the brownie and fruit bread I got as takeout (it looked just too tempting). Highly recommend going there and they have indoor and outdoor seating.

Wow !! As a french person this is by far my favorite place to get Croissants and fresh baked goods in Geelong !!
The staff is utterly friendly and helpful, I can’t wait to come back to try more of those delicious sweet and savory pastries !!

Everything I have ever eaten from here has been a 10/10. They make the best croissants and pastries all three of us have ever eaten... The flavours come together and dance on your tastebuds! I don't usually write things like that, but it needs to be said - this is the best cafe in Geelong. I am lucky enough to live close by, but I totally understand why people are driving down from Melbourne to visit. The women working in the cafe were very lovely and although I haven't tried the coffee here yet, I can say that they make a fab chai latte and hot choc with homemade marshmallows. Amazing experiences here both T/A and dine-in.

The best bakery in Geelong! Pastries are so good every time. Highly recommend! Go earlier otherwise some popular items will be sold out.

It was a wonderful morning with a cup of mocha. Tasty brand and delicious crossaint to startup my day. I would like to suggest and recommended chocolate crossaint , and it was easily to find a parking beside the road and a lot of flavor you can pick up inside the store. Amazing cafe ever 👍highly recommended for those staying nearby or having vacation there 👍

A perfect little cafe with everything made there so the taste is much better. Even the orange juice was outstanding as were the fresh salads. Of course the cakes and pastries that we tried all got top marks. We'd be happy to go back there any time. Staff were all very helpful too. This place surely deserves five stars plus

Although prices are crazy,specially for the bread slice !
But i do appreciate the work on the pastries as well as the bread too
Pastries have the perfect weight , right equations and just so delicious
Bread is also very authentic and delicious
But bread slice for 2.5$ thats not happening anywhere in the world but in that place 😀

Absolutely incredible!! I love this patisserie so much I need a membership! The coffee, the pastries, salads and the beautiful staff are all the reasons I visit here almost every day. Highly highly highly recommended!!

It’s so good to find a cafe/patisserie that puts effort into attention to detail that is customer focused. The patisserie display is drool-worthy, how to choose takes effort. The staff are friendly and careful with your order. The seating is comfortable and cute - those little seat pads on the window seats are a nice touch. The coffee, I am biased here, is Seven Seeds blend, better with a single origin IMO but still very good. The hot chocolate is delicious.
The GF options are limited, but our choice was delicious. A soda water palate cleanser served with espressos would be perfect.

Been trying to find nice little cafes in Geelong with lovely soups and salads while on the run. This has been my go to lately. Never disappoints! Delicious kid friendly treats that my little one loves. Highly recommend.

Love their Almond Croissants and Hot Chocolate (dark).A wonderful place with the best possible staff.

The place does get busy on weekends and special days. So try to get there as early as possible :-)

I am reluctant to tell too many people about THAT PLACE because it is my little secret that it is so good! I've brought friends from interstate and overseas and they have hands down declared their baked goods are better than other famous bakeries in Melbourne. The friendly service is very welcomed too :)

really good food and coffee. only 4 tables indoors, but a few more outside on the deck which is really nice for a sunny day. Great selection of pastries too.

Food and coffee are amazing. I and my partner make sure to have take away food and coffee at least once a week. Customer service is so great as well. Other day I was given a freebie because my order was delayed.

Tried this based on the reviews as we stayed in Belmont and can I say how yum and amazing this place is. We had coffees, hot chocolate, the hand made croissants that have numerous layers of pastry and butter and the breakfast brioche. Amazing, if I lived here I would be there everyday. Friendly staff too. Definitely a must go.

Excellent variety of foods. The salad days are a drawcard. Sweet and savoury options, hot foods too. Coffee and staff are excellent. Great Al fresco option for sharing with a friend or those with children.
