Waurn Ponds Hotel

Very busy at about 6pm ordering meals. Meal didn't take too long. The steak was cooked perfectly. Very enjoyable meal. Great place for a night out. Will come back soon.

Never disappoints. The meals are so generous and delicious. We are regular visitors and it's close to home so location is perfect.

$20 Steak night ( Wednesday) is outstanding value. Fantastic porterhouse ( large serving of estimate at 300 grams ) with superb vegetables. throw in really friendly staff.

Had lunch at The Waurn Ponds Hotel with friends today. We found the food and service excellent. We would go back again anytime. Thanks to Dale and Mary for making our visit very enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Went to a private function here and was very impressed. It was well organized, the staff were pleasant, polite and competent. There was plenty of food supplied, abd it was excellent. Plenty of choice, all of it good. Its good to see the menu has now been expanded to cater for vegetarians.

Really decent prices, particularly for the quality and size of the meals. Drinks were also priced well. Great play area for the kids. We really enjoyed our night.

Had a lovely meal at the Waurn Ponds hotel. And catching up with all my Grandchildren and my boys and their wives, as it was my Eldest Son, Arnie's 40th Birthday. Very friendly service, and very nice out in the beer garden with plenty of room for all the kids to play together.

Delicious meals with generous quantities

What a lovely family Christmas lunch we had today. The hotel food and staff were terrific and the Christmas theme was so good. The giant reindeer was fascinating to the kids who had a ball in the indoor play room. Playing quietly in the background were Christmas Carols. Great menu with parmis for $15 on Tuesday and steak for $16 on Wednesday. The steak was one of the best I have had. Great value and service.

Well well well. Who knew. We attended here to commemorate the passing of a family member. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble, it was very much appreciated.

Wow, we were pleasantly surprised by this place, not the best looking building from the outside but gee it was very nice inside ,the facilities we excellent, great service from the staff & the food was absolutely delicious, i can thoroughly recommend them to everyone 👍

We really enjoyed the Wednesday steak night at the ponds . It's got easy parking and lots of space. Steaks were generous and good quality so its a good value mid week option .The steak was a little over cooked for my taste (I ordered med rare) but I guess that's due to the mass cooking on steak night so make sure you make it clear if your fussy.
It's a pokie venue so not for all tastes but they are well separated. It's kids frendly but you can get seated away if that's not your thing. Our waitress was super frendly and helpfull and that made well for a good visit. Hey it's not 5 star dinning but may well be 5 stars for your family time out and about in Geelong.

Awesome Food with a great function room.

We had a family reunion there on Saturday 17th April for 29 people and the service and food( finger food) was excellent.
The room ( Bisco Alfresco )that was provided was perfect for our needs.
Everyone was very complimentary.

Friendly staff. Food was excellent price and delicious, generously sized meals. Great play area too, adults can enjoy some peace! Will definitely come back
