Buckley Sorrento

Stopped here for breakfast while completing sections of the Bay Walking Trail. Some outdoor seating under the footpath awning, or a large dining area out back. Efficient staff, nice coffee and delicious breakfast options. There is on street parking nearby. A little on the pricey side, but probably similar to other cafes in Sorrento.

Not sure when the changes were made but now a very different experience to the old Buckley's Chance.

Came here with a big group on the weekend and were found a table very promptly.

All ordering was through the QR codes and meals came out extremely quickly.

Food quality was good, with highlights being the kimchi eggs, pancakes and eggs benedict.

Only gripe is the $6 coffee price which is extortionate no matter which way you look at it.

Still food options and quality was good, although found a large hair in one dish but these things can happen at any Cafe.

Great food, My partner ordered the egg’s Benny and I had the breaky burger, the eggs Benny was quite large and my partner loved it. I will say the breaky burger was quite small but there are plenty add ons you can include also. Overall everything was really tasty.

I went in today because I was craving a BLAT, I looked everywhere on the street and nowhere had them. The staff at Buckleys specially made me one and holy sh1t! Best sandwich of my entire life!!!! The bread was perfectly toasted, the perfect amount of lettuce, avo and tomato, the bacon was cooked to perfection, not to mention the flavour fk me dead ! I was on a high after this sandwich, skipping around and all that! I will definitely be asking for this again, so I hope they keep doin what they doin :)))

I had my 2yo and 4yo with me. Struggled with the take away menu. Decided to sit down at a table, the staff went above and beyond for me.

They overheard my daughter ask for a “pink” marshmallow and sorted her out. That bought me enough peace and quiet to place an order.

I couldn’t order from the table online as I didn’t t have my credit card. They just took my order.

And then my 2yo threw 2 x cups on the ground that broke as I was paying. Nobody flinched. I would have normally asked for a name to mention but I was served by 3 amazing people.

Whatever the culture is at this workplace, they have got it right.

We ate here 3 out of 4 mornings we stayed in Sorrento. Great food, lovely coffee, friendly staff. Try the cauliflower fritters and chilli scrambled eggs! Amazing! Great selection of cakes too.

We ordered for a table of five and the food came out in a flash. Really enjoyed the Acai Bowl, Avocado Toast, Mushroom Toast and the Kids Penne Pasta.

Delicious, high quality food - with healthier food options. We had the Moroccan chicken with quinoa salad 💯 highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Superb pancakes and burgers! Hungry toddler and husband got to the food before I could get a picture perfect photo haha. Highly recommend

Went out for breakfast with our toddler and we had great service, delicious coffee and food and a great atmosphere! Reminds me of the Buckley's Chance of old! Large portions! Family friendly environment with a simple decor.

Delicious food, and a great breakfast menu. Had the kimchi prawn omelette which was a total flavour bomb. Fantastic coffee. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for breakfast again and it was equally good.

Food was 10/10 - I strongly recommend the cumberland sausage - the beetroot relish touching my tongue was a spiritual experience.

Well, having read such a bunch of negative recent reports I need to say that our visit for afternoon coffee, pancakes and muffin was excellent. Great service - greeted cheerily, sat promptly and served efficiently. The coffee was delicious - I had their special blend as a cappuccino and it was rich and smooth. The pancakes were light, tasty with good amounts of maple syrup and delicious ice cream. So big that we shared those and saved the generous muffin for later! A 4 star place I think, but an extra star for cheery service and for being open past the irritating 3pm witching hour in Sorrento! Well done folks!

Great food, great service. Walk-in on a busy Saturday at 12pm, was seated quickly and received food within 20minutes. Would highly recommend.

Great coffee and breakfast here. The service from Billy was great. Loves a bit of banter and the atmosphere was great too. Try the brisket and eggs Benedict.

Delicious food… we had the cauliflower fritters and Po Boy and couldn’t fault either of the meals. Prompt, friendly service. Is it overpriced? I think so, but it’s Sorrento and I have no problem paying extra for great food.
