The National Hotel

The National Hotel exceeded all expectations for hosting our lowkey baby shower. From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth, thanks to Liz and the attentive staff we had on the day, who made sure every element was exactly what we wanted. The National Hotel offered a full serviceable bar, own bathrooms, lift access and plenty of space for our guests. The atmosphere was delightful, the roof top venue was top notch, and we received so many compliments of the catered food, making it a truly memorable experience for us.

$25 steak night can't go wrong. Fantastic staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere. Classic pub! Will return.

Just decided to have dinner here and I ended up getting the steak and my partner got the chicken and both cooked perfectly. The drinks were wonderful. The girl behind the bar was fantastic ,service all in all. It was a great evening I even got a candle on my desert because it was my birthday.

This is the 3rd time we have returned to The National for our Christmas function and yet again it was amazing! The organization prior and ability to pre-order our meals made the event so much easier to coordinate on the day and the dining room is the most beautiful space for a private function. Especially with the fireplace and private bar. Food is always 5 stars!

We held our work Xmas party here and everyone was happy with their meals and the cocktails. From making the enquiry all the way up to leaving at the end of the night, the communication was great and the service on the night matched it. Thanks to Liz and Josh for looking after us.

Had our Cricket Presentation on Rooftop. Couldn't fault the night, easily organised and much fun had by all. Thanks guys!!

Had our staff function on the rooftop - this was our third year back. Food is always great and lots of options to pick from to keep everyone happy and the rooftop was great for a summers night.

We had lunch here. I loved food here, my calamari were crunchy and salad was really good. Staff was friendly. We were served very fast.

I hosted an event in the roof-top bar at the National Hotel and I couldn't speak highly enough of the support and flexibility that was shown. The price is exceptionally affordable in comparison to other similar venues and I would not hesitate to hire the space again for future functions.

We booked a last minute birthday party for 42 people and Liz and the team at the National were fantastic. The dining room is a great space and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a private dining option for any event.

Looking for a place to eat my partner and I stumbled on this place. The service from a lovely lady was absolutely fantastic 10/10 took our order never wrote it down. I order Porter House Blu to rare and my partner had King Prawns and Crab. Results,the steak 10/10 the chef even came out to make sure,the steak was ok,my partner meal 10/10 everything ordered was spot on Not over priced. Thank you National Hotel

Amazing service!!!! We held a baby shower at this venue over the weekend. The service from all of the lovely staff was incredible! The staff went above and beyond to give us the best day! Everyone that attended the shower was very impressed with not only the event space, the food was amazing!!!
If you are thinking of holding an event at the national, do it!!! You won’t be disappointed, our day was beyond perfect!!!!

Booked the dining room for my 40th and it was fantastic. Staff were friendly and happy to help, food was absolutely delicious with generous servings. Venue was amazing. Big thank you to James and his team for such a smooth and easy function experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely dinner at National Hotel. Staff are so friendly, inviting and happy to help. The food was absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails! A huge thankyou to Riley and Santosh for their cocktail expertise and Mel for the warm welcome on arrival. The rooftop bar had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back for dinner again!

I had my 21st Birthday at The National Hotel on their Rooftop bar and it was fantastic the venue is amazing the staff are so kind and happy to help with anything and are quick to respond to emails which made the organisation side of my event super easy for me! I would highly recommend The National! Awesome atmosphere, amazing staff and beautiful food!
