The Mayfair Bar

Wow, so busy this Friday nippy winter night at 5.30pm. Every table inside and outside was taken. I recommend booking ahead so ya don't miss out!
Here we have photographed a vegan parmie, haloumi burger and hot cider. Chippies were flavorsome. Everything was tasty.
Next time, I'll smash some wings when I come back for their quiz night.

Loved it there. Had a dinner date with my partner and she loved it too. Had awesome Aussie style chicken parmigiana, a cool vibe and the live music on the Tuesday night was great.

Go there for the ginger beer and buffalo wings. Delicious combo. Great staff too.

A great little find for a Sunday meal. Really friendly staff, quick service and delicious comfort food. We had the chicken schnitzel and burger which were great, and the gravy was nice and thick!

Popped in for a quick lunch before checking into our hotel! Had a nice window seat overlooking the road.
Asked to share our Aussie Chicken Parma with my husband and it was no problem! Even served it on separate plates for us!
Asked for a local beer and wine and the staff were very helpful and courteous.

Had a wonderful mother's day lunch with family and our meals were excellent, I ordered the vegan platter which was great value but too much for one person obviously I had to share. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, great service and a free glass of bubbles for mothers. 👍🤩

Mayfair is an awesome pub. The food is great and the extensive selection of vegetarian and vegan options is appreciated! Also love that you can purchase drinks from the bottle shop attached to drink at the bar.

I should have taken a photo of the burger and fries I had. It was perfect! They even have a vegan menu that's just like the normal menu. The staff there were friendly and approachable. The ginger beer was delightful and delicious. The others I was with had to get a doggy bag to take Thier left overs home. They had the platter. I would go back there again and again.

This place was absolutely fantastic. A really cool, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful service from the amazing staff, a very extensive range of great beers and some REALLY great vegan options. Great smoking area out the front also.

Great bar with great food. Mai Tai was excellent and one of the best cocktails I have had.

We brought our baby and although it was a tight space, we managed to have dinner easily with her.

The Mayfair has always been one of my favorite places to go for burgers and chips. However, recently there seems to have been a menu change to their food. It is now my favorite burger place I’ve been to. The burger chips and chicken I had today were one of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 and fair price too.

Hey, how ya going? The Mayfair was a really cool little vibe with friendly staff. It was very refreshing to see a vegan menu as long as the 'normal' one! We ordered the vegan colonel and snack platter. The vegan colonel was excellent - they did very well with the flavours and batter of the party. The snack platter was quite generous and a really good showcase of everything. I will say that the seitan was chewy but, good flavours all round. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Probably my favourite pub. You can get beers from next door at the bottle shop and just get a glass from the bar. Relatively quiet pub but it's becoming more lively recently. As much as I liked the grunge aesthetic it had before, it's a nice place to hang out now (and nothing stops me from still calling it "the world's end"). Food is great with great vegan options.

Such a rad little pub - staff are wonderful. Menus is simply rad burgers 🍔 but they do everything either meat or vegan. Great little chill out spot we go there all the time.

Best vegan parmi I've ever had, nearly cried with happiness when I saw the epic vegan menu!! Hugely happy to have discovered this place! Recommend!

Such a great vibe in the Mayfair. Great selection of drinks, awesome service and centrally located. Best bar in Hobart for sure.
