Very good restaurant in a beautiful building. The food was very good, though the portions were a bit on the small side. But the prices were reasonable, so can just order more. I highly recommend the pork belly! And of course the seafood and veggie tempura, karaage chicken, agedashi tofu, and their desert! Their matcha filled cake was delicious!

Service was good too. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely come back.

Best Japanese food in Sydney. A bit of an odd place as it’s in the Chifley building but the sushi is just incredible. Highly recommend and worth the price. Fresh seafood, masterfully cut. Great oysters too.

Quality ingredients, superb cooking. Every bite is delicious, staff is also incredibly friendly. One dish took longer then expected to arrive and we were given miso soup while we waited.

We enjoyed both the Wagyu steak and Shabu as they were exceptionally delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and fresh. It's recommended to have congee instead of rice. The soup was incredibly delicious, made from a combination of beef and vegetables. The service was also excellent, with the staff being very attentive and polite.

We had the tasting menu and it was very delicious. Highlight was the grilled glacier cod which melted in my mouth. Atmosphere is great, and cocktails were good. They also had mocktails which made the designated driver happy. Finally they had Zenzai (red bean soup with mochi and ice cream on the side) which I ordered in addition to the tasting menu was just the perfect way to finish a lovely meal off. Definitely coming back again to try other foods on the menu.

Went to eat dinner here with my partner and we were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. The duck and sushi were stand outs. The cocktails were presented beautifully. We were lucky to also make reservations for their valentines day menu which was also heavenly. Service was of a high standard. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend to anyone who loves real authentic Japanese food, flavor and the visuals. Mr Azuma and all his staffs were very friendly and polite with smiles on all the staff, can't go without mentioning double thumbs up for the Susi Shef Hiroshi as well.
We had Mr Azuma special course menu with little twist, which we were very lucky to have. Every dish that came out had been prepared to perfection and in detail, you can actually taste and enjoy the pure natural flavor of each ingredients.
Mr Azuma have been cooking for more than 50 years of his life and I must say Mr Azuma is a true culinary artist who still has passion for traditional Japanese cuisine.
Highly recommend not to any but to everyone.

Best traditional Japanese restaurant in Sydney by far. Everything - taste, service, ambience - is on point. Definitely a must try for fans of traditional Japanese food - I have been multiple times and each time it has been consistently amazing.

Highly recommend the toothfish, caviar, and the shabu shabu (make sure you get the risotto afterwards which they make with the stock from the shabu shabu).

We choose the Personalised Omakase for my boyfriend's birthday, and it felt so special. The menu was very well thought and every single food was very fresh and high quality. Taste also next level. The best Japanese restaurant we've ever been to.

超級讚！ The best service and the best food can be found here! I was never a fan of Sashimi until I visited this place! The delicious Saikoyaki tooth fish is rare in Aus and they actually have it!

If you enjoy authentic Japanese then you should come to this restaurant. You should try the sashimi and sushi as they are very fresh and almost melt in you mouth. The Udon is very delicious and the noodles are just right with the tempura. The Wagyu Tataki is very delicious and very enjoyable.
When you arrive need to scan the QR Code and then a staff member will take you to your table. Can choose a la carte or a degustation menu. The staff are friendly and will help you with the menu by making suggestions.
If you park in Wilson Parking next to the Chifley Square Building , you can ask the staff for complimentary parking when you are finished with your meal.

We often go here for special occasions. Food is consistently good, with very attentive wait staff. There is a fair variety of different things to try and we haven't tried anything we didnt like yet.

Service staff is excellent. Sashimi was great, full of flavour, fresh and a lot of variety. This place holds groups and offers private rooms. Their tasting menu offers great value!

Outstanding ambience, service and cuisine. From the location to the mannerisms in which the service is delivered, we came here for my brother's thirteenth birthday (whilst I've been a few times over the years), the staff went beyond and above in customising the hot pot to be vegetarian for me. Conversing in Japanese with me showed sincere reciprocation, which is endemic to Japanese culture. The food was of top quality and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Domo Arigato Gozaimasu !

This is a really authentic Japanese restaurant with only Japanese stuff and I thought very good quality sushi. We had a range of dishes including the Wagyu Steak main course dengaku eggplant (great dish!) and the aburi salmon nigiri, tempura soba noodles as well as some plum wine and cocktails (yamabuki I think it's called with Grand marnier, bourbon and some fruit juice). The service was excellent, very attentive and quick, cocktail was good and the plum wine (umeshu) was very nice. It was a little on the expensive side, for 3 people we ate till we were full but the bill without tip was $355. And that was including the plum wine and a cocktail and a 150 ml bottle of Sake. Definitely the real Japanese experience in a very peaceful setting in Chifley tower.
