Harrington Convenience Store

I know that this place gets a lot of bad reviews but I had a totally different experience. I just think that the guy behind the counter is really shy. I asked politely for what I wanted and he was incredibly careful to make sure that I got what I needed. He was able to sell me a stamp and he took the time to explain where I could find a postbox. In fact he went over it twice to make sure that I understood exactly where I was going.
I expected to be met with the kind of service that other reviewers had reported but my experience was totally different. I suggest that you give this store and this guy a go because maybe he’s just shy.

Was staying in the city for the night and needed a few bottles of water. Shopkeeper was closing up but i asked if i could quickly grab the water. He happily unattached the chains on the door and turned the shops lights back on. Not too sure how accurate the other reviews are on here. But i had to write my experience. By the way i got 2 600ml bottles of water for $5. Reasonable pricing. Thanks again!

Mahmoud (the cashier) was great. The bathroom requires light, but other than that, the mosque inside was wonderful mashallah and subhanallh. I was able to pray quicker because this mosque was created here near Sydney Harbour. May allah bless you mahmoud and thank you.

Went in the other night for smokes, ended up buying a load of the USA cereals, fella at the counter knocked off a couple dollars since I didn't have enough for the lot, genuine top bloke!

Went in there a few days later and the younger blokes had a terrible dismissive attitude but still giving this 5 stars coz that first bloke on night shift was a genuine legend!

Each time I’ve been I have had a pleasant experience. There is a wide range of products stocked.

Very expensive most likely because it’s behind the four seasons.

Do not shop here- the owner lied to me directly on the telephone.
I was given the address from 'NannyBag' luggage storage website, after paying them for luggage store. When I went to the shopfront, I was told by Mohammed that they do not provide the service. He provided me with the owner's name, Ibrahim. I lodged a complaint with NanannyBag and telephoned him. At first he lies to me about having an arrangement with them, then changed the story that they were waiting to finish a renovation before providing the service. I am launching a further investigation with NannyBag and the Consuner Ombudsman of NSW. You had a chance to refund me directly Ibrahim, and close the matter- but you didn't and that was a poor choice. You have my number if you wish to resolve this now. Weds 27/9/23 5:45pm
