The place is spectacular. The building itself is a picture of amazing architecture from the outside. It sit on the shore of the Sidney Harbour with the famous Harbour bridge in its shadow. The jewel of this experience was being able to actually listen to a performance inside. This is once in a lifetime opportunity that is worth every effort of a long flight and overcoming jet lag.

This was my first trip to Sydney, and the Opera House is majestic. It's so much better in real life than any picture you will ever see. We did a guided tour and went back the next day to watch a show. We loved both of these and highly recommend that everyone should definitely take the time to go for the tour and check out a show.

Wonderful, informative discussion with a fabulous guide. Amazing architecture and story. Well worth the visit. I wish I had the opportunity to actually plan a show. (There are many, it was my fault w timing)

Beautiful building. We took the basic tour. Some of the aspects were gimmicky, but gave you an opportunity to visit the main concert hall and other areas. Check out the free Sydney museum first which has a section about the Opera House. Tickets had a large weight time which is why we saw the museum prior.

It is a beautiful symbol of a human spirit, imagination, creativity, and ability to overcome challenges. It is a people's place. Come and be part of it.

If you want to go on a tour inside the Opera House, buy tickets online to select the day and time available, and then arrive to the Welcome Center, which is located underground on the left side 15 min ahead of your time.

Also, if you can, come on Saturday and hang around until about 9 PM to see a fireworks 🎆

Simply amazing! Never realized until being there how sturdy the whole structure is. Self supporting roof with concrete, cables and white tiles. Lots of interior spaces designed to hold venues such as plays and concerts.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. We watched the "Great Opera Hits". The employees were charming and very helpful. It's definitely worth going to visit.

Places to eat, drink, and enjoy the view of the Sydney Opera House. Always busy.
I loved the experience of seeing the opera house. Even though I wished for a clearer day.
You have botanical Gardens near by to walk into.

Highly recommend getting a boat to have a full view!!

Best New year destination because of various reasons. It's summer and the weather is perfect. The crowd are amazing. No crime in the city and it's kept very clean. The fireworks from cruise is just spectacular. Travel may get a little tricky.

This place is beautiful inside and out. We had planned to eat after and were hoping there would be snacks inside. There was! Just the right size to get us through to dinner. I had wine and the family had soft drinks. It was an amazing ballet and a fabulous experience!

This tour was certainly one of the highlights of our visit to Sydney. So many interesting facts about the history and endeavor to build this structure. I haven't quit researching more about this beautiful creation.

If you see closely the architecture is made from two different colour tiles, white and off white colour which makes the architecture appear off white in reality. No ticket is required!

The place is mesmerizing.
You can find, water, trees, and cool air all in one place. It's perfect for an outing. Perhaps you can opt for a cup of coffee near Harbour and enjoy the view.

Such an iconic building and beautiful as you can imagine. I wasn't the only one who thought it would be bigger though. Take a cruise to get a feel for the bay. Sydney has a great vibe. Couldn't believe seeing a seal on the steps by the water in front of the Opera House

I had no idea that this was a concert hall, opera house, play house and flexable performance space all in one. It's not only a self cleaning architecture marvel, but the most comprehensive performance space I have ever seen. Enjoy this icon. No one has to tell you this is a must stop, but do take the tour so you can see the inside.

Although it's a modern opera house, I really enjoyed "LA Traviata" despite a relatively small stage. The acoustic was great, the performance awesome, prices for beer, champagne and soft drinks were reasonable.

It is a unique place with modernity and serenity juxtaposed. It is a long walk for elderly people. Circular Quay metro can take us right to this place.
Worth a visit!
