Have been a few times for breakfast & the food is fantastic! It’s so good. All the staff are very friendly & attentive. Checking to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend going to The Turret

This cozy coffee shop is located in a converted old street house. Its exterior and interior architecture have been very gracefully adapted to the new purpose. The service was very friendly and efficient. Our breakfast dishes were quite good.

A really nice place to have breakfast in Ballarat. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are helpful. We had "The Turret" and the "Thai scrambled eggs". They were both excellent. The only suggestion I would make is to add a bit more salt and pepper to the dishes which is provided anyway. Other than that, the food was excellent.

Coffees were 10/10 as was our bacon and egg roll and ham and cheese toasties! Lovely staff and beautiful new decor in a beautiful old historic building. Can’t recommend enough!

We really enjoyed the food, pumpkin soup was one of the best we have had, and the Korean chicken burger was tender with excellent flavour. The French fries were perfect, crispy with a fluffy center.

Moving the entrance to the side street means now you don't get a cold breeze every time the door is open. The interior is warm, and the fireplace creates a lovely warm place to dine.

Great food and great service, the eggs Benedict is delicious as is their coffee so much so that I bought a bag of their house blend, my friend had the mushroom dish and loved it

Went to Turret Cafe for the first time for breakfast today and absolutely loved it. Food, service and more importantly Coffee was great. Definitely heading back again soon

Just called in for coffee yesterday with Lola, our dog. We sat outside and didn't have to wait too long. Coffee was brought out by a cheerful staff member, and my Long Black was excellent. We've been before, and they're consistent in their service and quality.

Absolutely lovely, we were a party of 6, celebrating a great grandmother's birthday. Service, food and atmosphere were all great, we couldn't ask for better. Only suggestion we could perhaps make, is that being a Friday afternoon a later closing time would be good, but that's purely selfish on our behalf. A lovely experience as usual thank you!

Stopped in for coffee n cake. Devonshire tea quite nice, other cakes looked good. There was a good food menu as well. Premises has an interesting history.

Love the new layout! Fantastic seats by the windows.
It's still a great place for a meal or just a coffee with something sweet. Although I miss their sticky date pudding, I really enjoyed delectable warmed chocolate brownie with some fresh cream on the side. Oh my, that was a spectacular ending to my already perfect brunch! Thank you for the great service, too!

Cannot fault the place. The coffee is always bang on. The food is always great. The staff are friendly and attentive. The renovations inside are Beautifully done, very relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing food and great service! So good I brought my son back the next day to try the delicious and extensive gluten free options. Can’t wait to come again next time we are in Ballarat visiting family.

Great menu, order from QR code at table, absolutely tasty meals, the Farmers Garden breakfast was sensational - every element so tasty on its own, and still tasting complementary to the other food on the plate

A must see for us, every time we are in town. The new owners go above and beyond making everyone welcome while maintaining the original building and its history. A great place to visit no matter if you visit the city centre or the hospital precinct near by.

The customer service at this cafe is outstanding. I have special dietary requirements and they tried so hard to help me out. This customer service is reason enough to return and recommend them to others. Food was wonderful too.
