Just Like nans

We stayed at the barkly motorlodge across the road and walked out the driveway to find this little gem .... savory muffin and breakfast burger was amazing, cuppa could be a bit hotter but just fine..

Stumbled across this place and Jodie and team go out of there way to look after you. Today Chilli con Khan with some scones and a Cappa. Nice atmosphere with some background music playing. Great food Great Coffee lovely people 😁

Loved everything we got. Prices are super reasonable and the food is out of this world amazing. The shop is very small and cozy so it was a lovely spot to stop at while we were in Ballarat

A great little cafe, that'll live up to its name and be just like nans. If your nan made phenomenal coffees, teas and food to beat that is.

Good vegetarian options, very tasty food. Good coffee. Cute and cosy cafe atmosphere. Quiet and easy to have a conversation. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend you try it.

Lovely breakfast, great, friendly service in a clean and relaxing environment. Coffee was perfect, and just what we needed!

Very glad that I found this little gem. Perfect spot for a home made snack, I had a fabulous chicken and corn soup(homemade) with a ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich,,,,, perfect. The staff were genuinely interested in what they were presenting to their customers. The cafe is decked out with odds and ends and a very pleasant place for a relaxed lunch.
Will call back again.

Lovely little cafe with a few uncrowded tables in a comfortable setting. Lots of books and nic-naks (most for sale) add to the homely feel. I dropped in for a simple breakfast of a flat white and a toastie. It was obvious they know the locals -- who are greeted by name -- but I was no less warmly welcomed. Made me feel good :) Nice food and coffee.

Great little cafe. Lovely homemade slices, coffee and snacks, just like nans. Loved the Little Golden Books used as menus, very quirky. Very friendly staff and prompt service. Highly recommend

What a Gem of a place, great service, fantastic feel as you walk in the door, met with a smile and pleasant hello, and a wonderful selection of drinks and food, had the in house pie, it changes every day, and the coffee was perfect, worth navigating the park out the front,

The best cafe in Ballarat! Judy is so sweet she looks like she’ll give you a hot meal AND a hug! Tip: try to get what Judy made herself; her cooking’s so good it DOES taste just like nan’s!
