They have a great range of novels. The new expansion has added an extra range if that "squirrelled away in a corner with a book" feel to the store. The staff are beyond awesome. Super helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. My go-to bookstore of all time!

They had lots of options, beautifully set up book store. Prices were comparable to other new book bookstores. Wonderfully calm vibe inside 😌

What a beautiful space! I could spend hours in here. A truly lovely book store with something for everyone. Was fantastic to see a dedicated poetry and short story section too.

Such a beautifully presented store. Friendly helpful staff, particularly the lovely lady on the register - to see someone fostering such a love of literature in children (my 7 year old) and his face light up just made my day

When you enter the shop it has such an ambience and all the old wood shelves invite you to browse the contents. The staff are so very friendly and knowledgeable. You can order any book here and they call when your book is ready to be picked up. No parking, you have to park and walk. But certainly worth a visit 😁

I ran into this lovely bookstore to purchase a reading book for my son, but unfortunately there was no stock on the shelf. However, they offered me excellent customer service, where the staff helped me to check in their computer system and eventually they found available stock for me from their warehouse. Recommended!

First visit to the store recently and wow, so much bigger than I thought it was! A great selection and range of books for all with lots of people inside, looking for books for all ages. I was only in the store for a few moments, purchasing a book made by a local author and the staff were absolutely amazing in helping me locate it. They were super polite, helpful and incredibly friendly! I can't wait to return soon to have a look at the massive range of cook books (my main interest).

Loved it.
Quaint bookshop that transports you to a different realm , filled with books - most definitely books !! But other curious things as well such as cool looking stationary , Origami essentials... etc.
And best of all they have a wrapping service at the counter which is amazing more so because the lady that wrapped a gift for my mom did it with such eagerness and care.

It's always a special day when you get to visit this book store. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The layout of the store reflects it's location within a heritage precinct. Well stocked with all things book related; you'll also find calendars, greeting cards, artisan gift wrap and an amazing children's book section. We're so lucky to have this literary jewel in Ballarat Central.

I love this little bookstore, it is the cutest store and the staff there are lovely going above and beyond to recommend me books. I would have to say it's one of my favorite bookstores so far.
